please with my purchase, this does a good job and feels like it will last. you can buy replacement tips but could also sharpen. the cores were a good size. only negative is Lawn Coring Aerator is hard work, but thats down to fitness.

Good news - second item had no faults.The design is still very good, and the article is well engineered for heavy use.This one had no paint missing, the tines were stiff, but a good covering of grease on the tine holders, the tines themselves and the screw fittings helped to get them all together.The grease will also mean everything should come apart easier after use - I plan to remove tines , clean everything and store in grease for next use.If you spend a lot on your tools , look after them and you'll get a good life out of them.

Product is pretty sturdy.....plug holes it cuts out ground are much larger than I expected (1" diameter?)...but guess that will help with drainage and aeration.What are Amazon playing at???.Filled the bin with packaging in one go 🙄🙄

This product was amazing. I have a garden roughly 130m2 and have always hired a petrol aerator, so I was slightly sceptical spending this amount on a manual machine but I was not disappointed. The area took just under an hour in very heavy clay soil. I perfected the jump lift technique that worked best and luckly I had some little helpers to pick up the pellets afterwards. I would definitely recommend to anyone who aerates their lawn on a regular basis!

This is well made and worth about £50, but it is not a magic bullet. If you have clay soil, as I do, it still gets clogged up. It is currently way over priced.

Although expensive, this product seems far superior to cheaper products. It is very robust and the holes it makes are much bigger and deeper than the Wolfe version I already have. Also, it does not keep clogging up like the cheaper products, as the hollow tines are partially open at the front to allow the soil plugs to exit the tines. With three tines that go into the ground reasonably easy, even though I live in a clay area, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I originally opted for one of the cheaper budget aerators, but probably spent more time trying to unblock the thing than I spent doing the entire job. So I decided to try this JNJ version after watching Lawnright Lawn Care’s Video and there is a night & day difference between the two of them. This JNJ aerator is easy to put together, and has lovely high quality sharp stainless steel tines. Looking forward to spending half the time doing my back lawn with this than I did with the budget one.

I thought paying extra would have got me a product that performed well. It’s certainly better made than the cheap stuff available but the tines constantly clog. The side eject tines should self clear but don’t in the case of clay soil. You need to buy an aerator with tines that are larger at the exit than they are at the entry.
