Buy it
This shirt is awesome. I ordered it for a Mary Poppins costume but I’ll be wearing it a lot. It fits me like it was tailored, which is crazy since it’s a random Amazon find. The fabric feels nice on my skin. It has just enough stretch that you can move your arms freely without it feeling tight across the bust, back, or arms themselves. The pretty pearl buttons are a plus. The shirt was shipped folded up in a small bag but all I see are a few creases along the lower arms so I’d say there’s no need to worry about wrinkles. The biggest part that blows my mind is the fabric is sheer, giving you that lacy Edwardian period feel, but apparently it’s not see through. I opened this package after I’d already put on my lounge-around clothes and was not intending on taking a picture so I didn’t bother to put a bra back on. I have an olive complexion, so on the darker side up there (sometimes you need TMI on a product review). As you can see from my picture it is not obvious that I’m free winging it. Okay so ignore my shape because that does make it obvious, but that’s got nothing to do with the shirt. I’m over 50 and breastfed my children. That being said, I can tell that I will have no issues when I do have the girls in place. I hate it when a shirt gaps between buttons and I have to wear a tank or camisole underneath. I live it South Alabama for Pete’s sake where it’s generally 115 degrees with 102% humidity. That’s a big no thank you to layering. For reference I’m 5 ft 6 and weigh 155 lbs. On the regular I wear a 34D, size 8 pant & medium shirt. I ordered the size 12 and it’s perfect I’m about to buy the black collared one as well.

Looks great
The sleeves are long for me, but the blouse does the vintage look well. I have the ecru one of the same style so was comfortable ordering.

Really cute
I am a size 8 and busty. Sometimes I have trouble with button down tops pulling but this fit perfect. It is long enough to tuck in or to hang out from a sweater just a tad if you don't tuck. The top is a bit see through. I would definitely wear a camisole under.I bought mainly to wear under things because I love the collar popping out. I love the collar! It is so cute and just adds a little something to any outfit

Runs small
Ordered a size 10 (label says 2XL) - even though Amazon said based on my measurements I should order a size 8. I saw this on an influencers page. Not something I normally would order, but the influencer styled it with so many things, I took a chance. Its very pretty, not scratchy and the fabric feels silky. Runs small though. I had to return, because it was too small. Could JUST button it and the sleeves were short, there is no stretch. Length is good, and could be tucked in. Took a month to receive, so I'm not sure I will order a larger size. Super odd thing, my package was returned - I even used their printed label - it said it was undeliverable. I did receive my refund, and I ended up donating the blouse.

Good Synthetic Victorian/Edwardian-looking Shirt
To start out, I want to thank everyone who left a review with their sizes and a photo of the shirt they got. It really helped me to pick the right size for me. I’m almost 5’7” tall; bust 45”;Waist 36”; Hip 46.5”. I usually wear a US size 16/18; XL/2XL. I believe the sizes listed for this shirt are the Asian sizes: Size 6XL was the right fit for me. It fits well across the chest without any gapping between buttons. The shirt length is long enough that I can tuck it into a skirt or trousers. The shirt is loose at the waist, not fitted, so I paired it with a close-fitting vest and added a set of brass bee lapel-clips (I don’t know what else to call them) at the collar. The fabric is synthetic. It has a bit of give to it — I’m not sure I would call it “stretchy” — it’s not restrictive, and is soft to the touch. It’s quite comfortable. I’m wearing a black tanktop under this, so I’m not sure how sheer the fabric is, but it seems to keep me nicely covered up. I think, at some point, I will replace the buttons, since the shiny gold rims are a little at odds with the brass metal color I prefer. There seem to be some loose threads around the buttonholes which catch on the buttons when I’m buttoning/unbuttoning the shirt. I could wish the sleeves were a little longer too, but that’s just because I like my sleeves to come a little past my wrists. The length they are now is not a dealbreaker. All in all, I am really happy with this shirt. It’s a good modern Victorian/Edwardian stand-in that fits me well. I would definitely order it again.

Measurements- sizing
This blouse, although very pretty nice design, fits about 2 sizes smaller than the sizing chart indicates.
