Mini-Serial to DB-9 Male Adapter Cable

This is NOT the mini serial port used for Rugged Tables in fact is useless for me.
the cable came with diferent serial port as the one I expected

Bought for fitlet2, but need an adapter because it's female
I can't connect it to the USB-to-Serial adapter for my laptop because both this cable an the Serial cable for my laptop are male. Same for the term serv / remote console server.So now, I've got to buy a female to female adapter to use it.
