All five episodes from the ITV series, based on the novels by P.G. Wodehouse. Manservant Jeeves (Stephen Fry) and his bumbling master Wooster (Hugh Laurie) attempt to keep their upper lips stiff amongst England's inter-war high society. These episodes find the hapless Wooster getting into a tangle over his own attempts to avoid marriage and his efforts to dissolve the union of his Uncle George and a young waitress. Fortunately, Jeeves is on hand to see that the decent thing is done.

By Jove, Jeeves, you've done it again!
As a life-long devotee of P G Wodehouse's 'Jeeves' stories I was worried that the televised version might not convey the light-hearted and hilarious spirit of the books. I need not have worried. Fry and Laurie are the perfect Jeeves and Wooster and this series perfectly captures both the style and content of the stories. It is very funny, endearing and excellent viewing. If you like period drama you'll love this. If you like P G Wodehouse's novels, you'll love this. If you like Fry and Laurie, you'll love this. Really, it can't miss - it should be compulsory viewing as an antidote to the violence of modern films and dramas.

Both discs are scratched and will not play all the way through.
Product arrived promptly but on first playing wouldn’t get through the first episode. On inspection, large scratches were seen on both discs. Not impressed at all.

hilariously funny, great acting and stories that have become a "classic" in english culture. loved every bit of it and since gifted to quite a few friends!
