BerleyPro Connector Protector - Protection for Graph, Fish Finder, LiveScope, and Other Marine Electronics Connectors and Plugs Against Corrosion and Damage

This is for a "real" full-sized boat accessory. NOT a small one used on a kayak. I had to return it because it was too big for my unit. BerleyPro makes great accessories and I have several of theirs.

Easy installation, recommend searching and reviewing you tube video on installation that demonstrates installation with the aid of silicone spray. I did prior to installing mine. The only disappointment was the tab that connects the protective "cap" broke off of mine (not sure how) which I intended to leave connected as my intentions with the connector protector was to regularly be disconnecting my cable and using cap to protect connector when not in use. Cap still works, just have to keep track of it now when I take it off vs it always being attached.

its big enough to put all 3 cables in 1 tube. when the cables are connected to the fish finder they are sealed. i need something to protect the cable ends when they are connected and on the road. you could probably put these on a door knob with no effort. parachutes in the wind.

Using this on my 93sv. Testing one out before I get another. I'm not sure how well the cap will stay on in travel. I go down a lot of gravel road before cement so we shall see. Tips for putting this on - fold the end of it back on itself. From there you can push it onto the cable end and then invert it onto the cable and pull it up where it needs to be. Then you just pull it back so it's no longer inverted!

This has helped me keep my fish finder plug sealed with a way to prevent saltwater from really getting in. It's been nice to have because I'm a kayak angler. I love how simple it was to install. It's a bit chunky, but it works well for the main cable. It is made out of thick rubber and it doesn't feel cheap. For the price to protect your cables, it's definitely worth the price.

First off, the instructions are online and the QR code doesn't work or was down. In any event, I followed the instructions and still had issues. When I went to place the zip tie on like it said to, it kept slipping off. I tried several more times with zip ties I had available, but the rubber kept slipping. Seems to have some type of slippery substance on it. Maybe someone else will have better luck with it.

I have been looking for a way to protect the ends of my cables. This is perfect. Easy to install and really works good. Gives me the piece of mind I’ve been looking for.
