It was a used book, about to fall apart. I had to patch it.
I like the book; an addition to the church library.

Good buy
Wanted this book for a long time. It’s a great book of stories to share with my kids. The binding is not the best, but it’s no fault of the seller. Thanks again:)

Binding is horrible
Binding is horrible..The story is wonderful and so are the illustrations. The book binding is horrible. As I turned each page, they all came loose. I had many loose pages as I finished reading the stories. I cannot use it in this condition. Maybe going to a store to ask for them to repair it with a spiral binding would be a solution. That would be an extra cost I didn't count on.

This is a relatable history told through stories of everyday acts of kindness and bravery. I found it helpful to interweave with a child's history and geography learning. I did have to place each page in a page protector and then used a binder to hold them.

Every pacifist or anabaptist family should have this book.
This is a beautiful book, sort of a Martyrs Mirror for young children. The stories are accessible and introduce peacemakers that we've talked about at home before in a new way. I read a story or two from it almost every night at bedtime to my 4 and 5 year olds.
