Lovely flavour and easy to chew
I have tried 4 flavours from phd. And this is the only 1 which is softer and dont feel like it's going to break teeth.

Nice taste
With 20g of protein and low sugar content, it is the perfect post workout snack or mid day pick me up. It also fits perfectly into my low-calorie diet, making it a guilt free indulgence. The Dark chocolate mocha flavor is simply mouth watering. It has a creamy and sweet taste with just the right amount of sweetness. I was surprised that it didn't have the artificial aftertaste that many protein bars tend to have. It truly tastes like a treat, but with the added benefit of being a high protein snack. What I also appreciate about this protein bar is its texture. It is not too chewy or dry like some other bars I have tried. It has a soft and slightly crunchy texture that makes it easy to eat on the go.

Good protein bars
I got the Dark Chocolate Mocha, but this didn't float my boat. It tastes quite bitter with it being both dark chocolate and the taste of the proten is also is not a good combination. For me, I think this was the wrong flavour and I should have picked a sweeter one.Consistency is nice and feels good to chew and you'd get a decent 21 grams of protein per bar, ideal got gym goers but they come with 238 calories per bar, so not good if you're looking to keep your weight down.

Not for me
I was looking forward to trying the PhD Smart Protein Bars but they're not as good as I hoped. There are twelve bars in a pack which makes them a very pricey snack. The bars are a lot bigger than I was expecting though and I think half of a bar would've been plenty big enough for me.I found the taste to be okay when I first started eating them but they left a unusual aftertaste which tasted a bit nutty. It also left my mouth feeling dry afterwards which would put me off eating them. I didn't like the hard texture to them either.I didn't enjoy these at all but they're not a bad product so maybe you'd enjoy them more than I did.
