I live in an area with limited reception. Because of the way my house is constructed it would be very difficult to run a cable to an outside antenna. I decided to buy this and hope for the best. When it arrived I connected it to my stereo and just tossed the antenna up over a hook about 6 feet high and didn’t even bother to spread out the leads. Even with this half-hearted installation my FM station came in clearly. Now that I know it works I will do a proper installation.This is a good antenna at a reasonable price.

I used in garage, I have a 1 car garage great for that area and if I am doing work outside around garage

Ease of assembly:The unit was easy to install. However, FM reception did not improve.

A bit skeptical, but this little antenna worked great for pulling in the area stations on my garage radio

Antenna is 75 ohm as advertised. The 75 ohm to 300 ohm adapter is JUNK. Adapter has no matching components inside and is just wired straight through so it DOES NOT change impedance to 300 ohms. It is built so cheap the f connector spins in the housing and will break the wires loose and have NO connection at all. If you have a radio or tuner that requires 300 ohm antenna connection avoid this product or plan on buying a quality adapter for 75 to 300 ohm.

It might've worked, but it arrived broken. One of the connectors just fell off the end of the wire.
