Clash of Kingdoms (Dirty Blood Book 6)

This third and possibly final book of the trilogy is as explosive, dynamic and spell binding as the last two books. We start book three exactly where book two finished. Doom appears to be descending and Aurelias is so in love with Harlow, the pages sizzle with the chemistry but his stubborn and passionate protection remains as solid as ever. He becomes more encompassed in Harlow’s family, and when he has to decide to come clean or return the decision he makes is life altering. All the characters are so strong , and most of the main ones are endearing, apart from the Demons, and the brothers father. He is as dark, cruel and self obsessed and full of hatred of humans as much as the other books have implied. Fang is as ever faithful and forms a friendship with Harlow although he cannot communicate with her, but manages anyway. The dragons help in a dreadful battle as do all the vampires, and there is much bloodshed and death. The Beast also appears and spikes Fangs interest, but due to her help the goal that is required is achieved. There is lots of plots, subplots and the conquests of good over evil, but not without many many tense moments. The re uniting of the brothers Cobra, Kingsnake and Aurelias is most poignant as are their respective partners. Although tragedy, and humour abound, so do some extremely tender and loving moments between the two main characters. However there are also some incredibly sad areas when choices taken are not the ones the reader may want. Yes this fantasy, yes this is drama, intrigue and romance rolled into an interesting and incredibly powerful trilogy that is superbly written by a phenomenally gifted and fabulous author. Is the end ? I would imagine so but you never know. A great to escape in a make believe world, but all the emotions experienced whilst reading this work is anything but make believe.

I love this series, altogether its a 5 star series.Clash of kingoms gets a 4 star because it finished feeling unfinished for me.What happened to beast and her babies? They were never mentioned again, did they make it to heartholm or go somewhere else?I know all the demons died that went to war but what about the ones that didn't, will they come back.VIPER! is he going to get his own book? He needs one.

Very original and enjoyable. Humour, romance and battles all come together to make a wonderful story. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This whole series is well worth the read. Each book had me so involved INE the characters lives. It was like I personally knew them. Laughter, tears and other emotions in between.

What a conclusion to Aurelias and Harlow's love story!  I loved this series and am so sorry that it has to end.  Maybe we can get a novella with Viper's love story to return to this world.Aurelias has kept his word and has stayed in HeartHolme to help fight this new enemy - The Demons. He has gone above and beyond, even getting his father and some of the vampire army to come to their aid.  The love between Harlow and Aurelias grows even more. Yet, he still has some of his past behind a tall wall.  As much as Harlow tries, Aurelias seems stuck in keeping essential bits of his past hidden.  But will he eventually break down that wall and talk to her?Huntley was my favourite male character in the Forsaken series.  As he was back then, he is now a true leader to his people.  It was amazing to see the maturity he displayed when dealing with Aurelias throughout this series, but it was incredibly encouraging in this conclusion.  Huntley has grown to love Aurelias as though he is a son.This series was an outstanding read!  I will genuinely miss Fang!Reasons I enjoyed this book:Entertaining, Romantic, Action-packed, Wonderful characters

The entire series is an easy read!So if I have to critiquePrefer the female leads in the first three books. The male leads are nice if you can get over the personality transplants they have almost instantly based on absolutely nothing substantial.The female lead in the last 3 books is quite useless. Also, like the male lead in the last three books, albeit he has a huge personality transplant from the first 3 books which is not justified my anything written in series n especially as the female lead is quite useless. No idea why her dad decided to choose her to be the queen. She literally has no shinning moments.Would still have like to hear what happened to Beast n her hatchlings in the end and also feel like Viper needs his own story!Would read viper’s story if it came out. So like I said, overall a pleasant enough read.

And it’s starts with a sparkling fire between Aurelias and Harlow they are smoking hot together!The war is coming and even you feel the family bond between the Rolfe family as well between Aurelias and his brothers, even after all those years together they still share their family bond as brothers! They come to help him protect his lover and their Kingdom. He sacrifices everything for her, even though he does know that he is doing that, he’s also not willing to make himself human. He’s mind is set, he will leave once they win the war against these demons. He is a bit stubborn but also Harlow. They fit great together. Eventually she caves but he does not want to hear a thing about that! He still grieves his first love, even after 1500years the pain is still to deep!The battle is brutal but somehow the 2 Kings become close again. Huntley takes Aurelias under his wings, he is such a great father and friend! I love how they develop a relationship between themselves!Also I did not see this end coming but I’m glad it went this way! Be prepared to read about a great battle between the people of King Rolfe and these filthy demon creatures! This story is also about love and love sickness, I was in tears a few times but eventually the end is beautiful!So sad that the story about this amazing family is coming to an end! I loved every Dirty Blood book and every character is in my heart!
