Great option for a waterproofing membrane
So this does not have a sticky side so you will have to lay a wet layer down then press this into it for a solid set up. This membrane is made or some decent material that provides a solid mesh to allow for a solid connection that will be strong and durable. You will need to buy sealant to put this into. As my roof is covered in snow right now i have a failing sky light that i will need to patch during spring. This material will work great with some sealant to provide a strong secure patch that will last the test of time.

Durable
This Seam Secure Waterproofing Membrane is very strong. Due to the winter weather I won't be able to use it until spring around my skylight. I think it will work fine based on the durability of the material. I may upgrade my review after using it depending on the circumstances. The instructions are part of the roll I think there should be a separate instruction and installation sheet.

Not the easiest to use
As other reviews have stated this is not the easiest product to use. Think of being on top of an RV with the wind blowing...better bring some stuff to weigh it down or have two skinny people climb up to work on it. Once down it does a good job. I'd rather fuss and cuss trying to put it on than have a leak of any kind that's for sure. It's a good product just make sure you are aware of what you're buying first.

Hard to handle!
This product is made of polyester, is very light, thin and porous. You use additional adhesive to bond it to the crack, seam or hole you are trying to cover. The issue is if there is any slight breeze , even when the "tape" is wet , it moves, shifts or just flys away. You will need help or weights to weigh it down while you apply the first coat of adhesive. Once bonded to the seam (in my case skylight installation)) it does adhere well without buckling, shrinking or wrinkling. It has just been difficult to work with initially. Also the instructions are on the outside wrapping so be careful you don't discard them accidentally.

Seems to be strong support membrane
Note this does not have any stickiness or adhesion, so you'll have to lay down your wet layer first and carefully position it. You usually would anyway, but some stickiness would have made positioning much easier. And that means you can only use this in certain situations. But the membrane does seem to be quite strong support, and while I won't be making the roof repair til spring, a sample test patch in the basement did seem to come out sturdy and waterproof with enough layers.

Must have sealant coating to use with the fabric
Just be aware this is only fabric membrane and not the tape that BEEST also makes. The fabric is fine and reasonably priced but only as good as the liquid sealant you use with it. I'm not really sure if this makes the repair that much better than just using the roofing sealant by itself so that's why I gave it 4 stars.

Not tape (not sticky) not waterproof itself, provides structure for other waterproofing material.
This is not tape, it does not have any sticky to it. Think a more sturdy bandage, with holes in it. It is not a sealant itself, you need to use something with it to seal.I am using it on the edges of some planter boxes I want to seal that have gaps between the wood. This provides the structure for the sealant to stay in place, and it works well for that purpose.
