The watch arrived 2 days after ordering in a minimal case and packaging that shows concern for the environment. The satin finish on 316 SS looks awesome! The machining on the big screw-down crown and locking chrono buttons is very crisp and totally functional! The multi-colored lume on this watch is also very impressive and lasts through the night. The very slightly curved sapphire crystal with anti-glare coating on the inside provide excellent readability. Overall, I really don't have anything bad to say about this watch and I look forward to seeing how it holds up. Normally, I wear mechanical watches, so this is a little unusual for me, but everything fits, the price, the looks and even a nato strap, my favorite! And as an added bonus, the sweep second hand of the stopwatch actually "sweeps" like a mechanical movement. Very nice!I will follow up on this review, once I get an idea of accuracy, wear and water resistance.

I bought this as a beater. The stock strap is weak but Barton fixed that. The actual peice is a decent weight, lug to lug size, lume is bright and long lasting, the hands line up perfectly. Iv had it almost a year and it's taken a beating. It's now a regular in my rotation. I'm very impressed for the price and functions it contains. If this quality is easily had for dirt cheap, why spend $$$$ on a name brand.

This watch is a quartz chronograph that can time events up to twelve hours . It features three sub-dials : running seconds , 60 minute totalizer , and the twelve hour totalizer . The movement is made by Seiko and is a mecha - quartz movement. The chronograph second hand sweeps just like a mechanical chronograph and when the reset button is pressed, all chronograph hands snap back to zero same as a mechanical chronograph.The case is a bead blasted finish, giving a grey non reflective military appearance. The watch also features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The chronograph pushers are screw down as is the crown, giving the watch a 100 meter water resistance. Another useful feature is that the dial is luminous.Altogether, a very good value for the money!

The finishing on it is great, the dial looks great, all of the applied lume and indices are crisp, the polish on the hands is good. I like that the strap has a canvas outside for that nice canvas look but a leather interior to keep my sensitive skin from getting chafed. it's also pretty cool that the pushers for the Chrono feature actually have screw down crowns built in. I thought those were just aesthetic but those are actually functional. You have to unscrew them to be able to push the pushers in, and when you're not using them, you screw them down and they won't budge.All of the hands also line up perfectly except for the second hand subdial which is ever so slightly misaligned by roughly half a second. I'm not sure if it's a half second forward or a half second behind. All things considered, that does bother me a little bit but not nearly enough to do something about it like try to return it or open the watch up and take the hand off and realign it. I actually don't even look at the second hand that often anymore on watches except to adjust the time which you only have to do once or maybe twice a year depending on how OCD you are about it.I consider it to be a 5/5. Maybe 4.5/5 because of the second hand but Amazon doesn't have half stars.

I am always looking for a good field watch, as I like a full set of printed numbers instead of just chapter marks. This one is very clean and crisp, lumen does not last very long at night but is bold and different colors.I like the look of the canvas strap but I never can get it JUST right on my wrist, so I swapped it out for a wider strap, like I do with most watches. This one is high in the rotation. I stopped buying cheap watches because wearing one while leaving an expensive one in a box is silly, but there are days I do not want to risk a several hundred dollar watch like when working on vehicles or riding off road

This was a beautiful watch that delivered on all the hype and praise concerning fit and finish. However, one push of the flyback button and the chronograph hand detached itself. This may be a QC issue but could be a design problem. Very disappointing. The watch has been returned for a refund.
