CAC card reader works great on Windows 10
This was a plug and play on my windows 10 desktop. Never had to do anything else and my DOD CAC card worked perfectly allowing me access to the sites I needed. Tried it on my old MacBook Air and it would not read the certs. So if you’re using in a Mac you may have to do some other things to get it to work. Great value for the price too!

Make sure you know what you are getting, ask or talk with your IT Security Manager at the Command prior to use. Check your connections that you are purchasing the correct unit.......

Worked well for a while
Not bad. Got the job done, until it quit working. I haven't yet found a brand that is long-lived. Probably got 2-3 years of frequent use out of it... it would be helpful if Amazon listed our purchase dates when we're writing reviews so I could fact check that last bit.
