I needed a decent size cage for my two gerbils and this looked like it would have enough room for them to exercise and for their toys. 1. The instructions were so unclear and I tried to look for an instruction video but there were none 😍 2. The roof(s) doesnt attach so I had to put a shoe on one and my makeup bag on the other to hold it down. 2. The little ladders for them to get to each platform slip out as soon as their lil feet’s get on it and I had to take them out and my poor babies were just doing parkour 🤸 3. The door was sooooo loose I was scared they were gonna get out so I taped it and when I needed to get them out I removed the roof. 4. When I tell y’all the cage walls/sides did not want to stay in place AT ALL. It really made cleaning a lot of fun! 5. They really liked the tubes, I’m so glad it definitely did NOT take 2 hours to actually put them together. they come in halves but not all of them connect so you’re just constantly going through the tube pieces and praying you find one that holds, and putting the grip connectors on them also definitely didn’t have me sitting on my bedroom floor rocking back and forth whilst screaming crying and throwing up (jk it did). 6. This isn’t really pawhuts fault but they kicked tf out of their bedding and it got everywhere so if this is for gerbils I just recommend a glass/ acrylic reptile enclosure. anyway yeah just invest in a decent cage. Super easy to assemble.My daughter loves this so much. Best cage so far 🥰

Don't purchase. TERRIBLE quality. Cage walls do not securely close together, bottom clips are to short to secure to bottom with out bending the plastic bars making large gaps for pet to escape and cleaning a nightmare. Plastic tunnels do not fit in allotted holes. Running wheel does not securely attach to cage wall nor does it turn properly. Cage walls do not have enough strength to support even the lightest of pets in the wheel with out bending and sagging.Save your money, time, and frustration. Purchase something different.

If you are getting this for a gerbil or a hamster hamsters need at least 4 in of bedding so they can burrow in the bedding and make a little nest so they can feel comfortable same with gerbils but gerbils need at least 6 in of bedding so they can also burrow in this gives at least like 2 in and is not good in my opinion You can buy it but in my opinion it's not really suitable.

The tubes do not clip on correctly and the plastic they give you for the cage to be able to walk on is so weak my hamsters aren't safe on it falls down my all the time my lil baby is pregnant she can't be falling like that DO NOT BUY the clip don't even clip right worst this I ever bought

Thought that this looked like an ideal hamster cage as we planned to get a hamster for my daughter. Pets at Home would not let us to purchase a hamster for a cage of this size, because the base dimensions were insufficient and did not provide enough burrowing space even for a Russian dwarf hamster. They also expressed concerned that the wheel was too small and could result in hyperextension related injury.

Cage a bit tricky to assemble. Get one piece in place & another bit pops out. Got their in the end. Hamster loves it 😁

Assembly of the cage took every bit of my patience particularly the tubes that come in about 20 small sections that all have to be put together individually, Even once it's all together the whole thing is a little flimsy and the instructions are useless, the 3 "roof" parts of the cage have to be installed and once in place they don't fit well at all and can move up and down easily, very large tolerances (gaps) between roof and side walls enough for fingers to fit through so definitely big enough for a determined small animal to escape if they have the desire so I've had to use cable/zip ties around the edges and roof of the cage to keep it all secure 12 in Total, the 4 shelves locate by just resting on the bars of the cage via small tabs so move back and forth up and down,they don't "click" into place so I can see them being dislodged often by the hamster, the ladders are the same just rest loosely in place via large locating holes so in the future I may have to find a way to secure them in place as well, the 2 clips that hold the cage to the plastic base are so tight it's hard to unclip/clip up i can see them breaking after a while and it's impossible for my 14 yr old daughter to unclip, that said the cage is large and spacious, with a few adjustments it could be a good and secured home for a small pet, It's just a shame Extra measures have to be taken to make an ok cage a kinda good one. One extra annoyance is all the cable/zip ties will make it harder to disassemble for deep cleaning. Price is ok for what it is and it turned up on time and well packaged.

While it looks spacious, it is not for dwarf hamster and not for sirian either.Flimsy, doesn't really stay together. Hamster keeps escaping and it is a nightmare to clean.Especially the tip layers. Whilst it looks fun and good for hamster, don't waist your money.
