Sniff Relief Heated Electric Sinus Mask

Love the sniff relief! I was struggggling with my typical once a year sinus infection. My nose and sinuses were just crammed full of junk, occasionally to the point of causing a headache. Blowing my nose didnt really even offer temporary relief and I think it was starting to affect my ears (certainly didnt want to compound the issue with an ear infection too). Im not big on taking medicine for things like sinus infections or colds, I prefer to do things to help my body fight the sickness naturally (fruits, veggies, water, steam showers, etc). I saw a video for Sniff Relief on facebook and bc I basically shop exclusively on Amazon, I searched for it here, and viola! I figured the $99 bucks was worth a shot at a natural remedy for blockage and pressure...THEY NAILED IT. First, it comes in a super cool package (think iPhone packaging) that fits everything efficiently and allows you to store it too. I un-boxed and plugged it in and then strapped it right to my head. The remote is intuitive and easy to understand and literally within 5 seconds I could feel heat beginning to soothe my face and sinuses! The apparatus is well constructed and stays in place on my head. It has a mold-able material in the face mask that will contour and hug your face to maximize the heat transfer and the eye holes are genius because I can watch tv, work on my computer, or read a book while I have it on, super functional. I generally cycle it on my face for about 15-20 minutes then I remove it. But when you remove it it has a pretty awesome sensation of pressure relief! Im not really sure what is taking place, but I can feel everything just relax and I could actually breathe! Thank you Mr Sniff Relief, Im definitely going to keep an eye (hole) out for any other genius ideas you guys come up with!!

First of all, I received an open box item!!! There was no wrapping around it, when I opened, I could tell right away that something was wrong, the wires were all tangled up and had a small knot in it. The masks was just thrown on top and the velcro was snapped on backwards! All of that for such a HIGH PRICE?!?! Now let's talk about the actual product... It does NOT work!!! The description is incorrect, the heating pad is too small and doesn't cover your sinus cavities at all unless you are 3 year old toddler. It says the heat is adjustable??? No it's not, you can just turn it on for 3 time settings: low 15 minutes, medium 30 minutes, high 60 minutes, but the temperature is the same and you can barely feel it. I did give it a try and after an hour, I was still in major pain. I grabbed my old heating pad, microwaved it for 2 minutes and after 15 minutes my sinus pressure was relieved. Do yourself a favor and save the money from this overpriced worthless product.

UPDATE 2/20/2023: The company sent me a new and improved version after I had written my 1/16/2022 review, which I rated 4 stars. It's been over a year and my sinus mask is still working! The main upgrade I immediately noticed was the pliability of the bendable nose piece in the mask. It's way stiffer than the one I originally had. I'm unsure whether they revisited the connection between the mask and power supply because upon receipt, I used medical tape to secure the connection (my original one stopped working when those parts kept coming undone/apart with little or no movement). I'm still so grateful to have found SniffRelief Sinus Mask on Amazon! It's been an awesome part of my "natural" self-care routine. THANK YOU AGAIN, SniffRelief! My apologies for the lengthy delay in updating this review! It's 5-stars for me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/16/2022: So, I’m hoping to hear back from Sniff Relief customer service, whom I just emailed. My mask stopped working when it would no longer stay connected to the power cable. It falls out/off every time I try to connect it to use. I received mine on 10/1/2021. I sure was hoping it would last much longer than than 3-1/2 months, because I love this gadget! It has helped with my sinus issues and is very comforting. I’m rating this 4 stars for concept. The engineering probably needs revisiting, which I hope they do, because I’d buy an improved version!

I did read the reviews prior to buying. With the choices available, this product seems to fit my needs better than most. It is easy to use and I do get some relief. I find that I need to have the heat on high to get the results I need. The bridge of the nose should be more pliable to be able to fit more snug. By resting loosely around under the eye area does not provide enough heat to clear sinuses in that area. I needed to put a weighed eye mask over this so it will lay firmly in that area. With that said, having the eye area open to watch TV or read a book is useless. If these kinks could get worked out then the product will be perfect.

I get severe sinus pressure and sinus infections..when I purchased this I was desperate for some sinus relief as heat usually works for me. When I tried this product it was easy to use, there was enough heat on the forehead and bridge of the nose area but not nuch heat going to the cheek bone region which is where most of the sinus pressure is. I didn't not care about the price knowing I would get some relief but too expensive for something that does not have heat where I most need it. The mechanics where the heat is distributed could be much better. If this ever gets fixed I will be happy to buy another for maximum coverage of heat.

This is great for migraine relief. Bought 2 for a friend who suffers from horrible migraines on a regular basis. Bought one in December and one in January as a backup and for when she travels. Both have stopped working. For 80 dollars they should last longer than 3 months. Very disappointed.

Ive hardly ever written a review on anything, but this has been extremely helpful! As someone else said "I wish I had known about it sooner!". The changing temperatures, allergy season, sudden temperature swings and rain/cloudy weather would make my sinuses feel bad. And it was very subtle too, generally just a tired and irritable feeling. Couldnt quite understand where or why it was doing that for the longest time. I used and still use sinus rinses. Those are helpful! But I remember putting an electric blanket over my face one time and it was a night and day difference! Until now Ive just been using the electric blanket, hot towel/microwave towels, and those are all good still! But having the ability to work, study and do other things while having the mask on really helps, especially when you are busy with other daily tasks. No regrets on the purchase, even if it was back to its original price, worth every penny! Good job and a quality product! As far as heat is concerned, in my opinion it heats up really well. Definitely noticeable heat, they got a good heating element inside. Definitely feels quality, the box feels quality, the controller. Good stuff! Take note of their method for fitting the mask to your face, it fits pretty snugly. I wear my glasses over it and on top, put them behind my ears, which actually helps to fit it even more snugly to my face. If I were to make any suggestions for future models, maybe the flaps near the cheekbones, maybe some kind of adjustable velcro on those for an even snugger fit, but a very minor suggestion. Overall extremely happy with the purchase!

I know that is looks like it is not covering where it should and that it is not hot enough but i think that you have to wear it for some time. You shouldn't take it off just because it doesn't feel hot enough. Also I think that you have to be careful how you adjust it to your face. Couple of times it didn't heat the bottom part so I adjusted a little bit. All in all it helped me but of course I know people have much more problema with sinuses than I. I think it's worth to try. After I heat up the sinuses I can feel the relief coming slowly!
