Worth its weight in Gold ⚱️
I bought this DVD drive after watching a video by Adam Taylor otherwise known as EposVox on YouTube discussing the importance and means of preserving data for the purpose of archiving. My main purpose for the usage of this drive is to backup copies of my PS2 games to ISO files which has worked flawlessly with IMGBURN (my writing software of choice) 🎮📀💻 If or when this drives eventually gives up the ghost on me I’ll definitely be purchasing another one in a heartbeat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For point of reference I use a laptop when it comes to creating backups with the following specifications: ASUS ROG Strix GL702V. CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 HQ RAM: 16GB GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 OS: Windows 10

Works well, but a bit of a lightweight.
Good value for money. Light and easily transported. Appears to work well. The lightweight construction does make this drive seem rather flimsy.

Dell external cd drive
This drive works as you would expect. It is functional without any gimmicks. It takes up table space next to the laptop which some times is inconvenient. It would have been nice if the laptop had it built in but now-a-says that is not often the case.

Worked first time
No need to use the CD supplied for software as I just plugged it in and it played first time on my Dell Inspiron laptop. REally pleased as previous purchase, which was much cheaper, was mechanically faulty and never worked.

Dell External Slim Optical Disc Drive
The Dell slimline DVD R/W optical disc drive was extremely easy to set up with my LG Laptop. It was basically plug and play, as LG uses the same operating software as Dell. It's excellent quality, lightweight, and comes with a USB-A connector for the laptop input. I purchased it from Amazon because of the excellent pricing.

Purchased a new computer and desktops no longer have built in DVD players. I purchased this on recommendation of my computer expert. It works perfectly for CDs and music. Has a button to push to open the tray which I wanted and many do not have. Simple set up...plug in and go. Does come with extra software you can install for burning cds. I couldn't be happier.
