Was able to load this up with braid and went fishing. This reel was excellent and performed a little better than I had expected. It’s smooth and has a decent casting distance using a variety of lure weights. I’m really happy with this reel.

Worked out amazing. When it arrived the drag and tension knob were so loose the spool wasnt spinning and I briefly thought it was defective. Tightened everything up and it was fine. I put 20lb braid and 1/2oz crank bait on 6' rod and it cast beautifully. Awesome value for the $$.

Works a little too well for the price. But obviously not one of your high-end reels. So you can't expect too much. I bought it for an alternative to my telescopic spinning rod.

Do not buy this reel, I had it for maybe two weeks and I went to set a hook on a bad and the back of the reel where it connects to the rod snapped off and insulate to injury it was a very small bass. Not any problem casting, It casted very smooth everything else was good but it is not durable at all.

I have been wanting to try a left handed bait casting reel for a while. Never have felt comfortable having always changing hands after casting. Didn't want to drop a bundle on an experiment and saw this one on sale. Has given me the opportunity to try something new without breaking the bank.With all that said, it is a good reel for the money and should give me good service.

This product just broke and it's too late to return it. My grandson was upset.

I think this reel was $27 on sale so I got 2.....I loaded one with 20# Braid and the other with 12# mono.......They cast well......But not as well as the old Abu Black Maxx and Silver Maxx Reels I purchased years ago.......It takes time to adjust the reel for proper casting and still backlashes nore than my other Abu Reels. I plan to use them on telescopic rods for grab and go fishing and will keep them in my truck........They will also be used as loaner reels when folks come to visit and want to fish.

I love this reel. I got it to use for coho and sping salmon at the river while waiting for parts on my other reel. It worked great and for the price, you can't go wrong

En general me impresionó, aunque es la mayor parte de plástico, la verdad es que funciona y se siente tan bien como un carrete caro. Se ajusta muy fácil para no tener backlash y se siente bien a la hora de recoger la linea. 10/10

Por experiencia con este carrete le quite dos de los imanes del freno y quedó perfecto para mí, desde el primer día de pesca dió resultados.
