No a beginner machine
So when this machine works it’s great but not for the faint at heart. I have become an expert I. Threading a lower looper but if your new to serving as I was get a machine that auto threads you will love it and it’s really will be worth the extra money

Impossible to thread
I've sewn for 45 years, serged for over 25. I could not thread this machine or make it sew after 3 hours of intense efforts. Terrible! We exchanged it for another model, recommended on Amazon, and were serving within 3 minutes. This machine is a disaster.
