This is a quality product. The colors are bright and consistant. The thread is thick enough to hold its shape and small enough to go through the 1 mm standard bead holes. I really liked the way it braided to make an ankle bracelet.

Great quality thread for beading. Packaged nicely with a eye-catching variety of colors. Definitely a good choice for the price.

I have used the thread to restring 9 Japanese beaded bracelets. Excellent weight to make a small macrame slide closure, and the wax coating helps hold the knots in place. I am able to burn the ends down like nylon. I will use the threads for leather also. Great colors. Consistent twist. Great value

I would have given it 5 stars BUT I had to return it because it was to thin for my needs. I have ordered the same size thread from another company and it was thicker. I wanted to give this a try but again it was thinner then expected. Other then that it was good quality, the colors were as expected. If it suits your needs I would give it a try. If I have a future project that calls for smaller thread I would buy it again

Really happy with this cord so far! I make knotted mala necklaces and it works great to thread on the beads. The wax helps the beads go on the end without it getting frayed and I don't have to use a beading needle. The beads I use have a 8-1mm size hole. I knot them super tight and pull on the cord and no issues with it feeling flimsy or breaking. I really hope it holds up over time in comparison to cotton or silk thread which doesn't hold up for too long. The price was excellent and the colors are gorgeous! Also, the wax isn't too much-- you can definitely feel it but it isn't super sticky feeling or ends up on the beads.

This little set is great if you do small projects or just testing them out. I chose this for the 0.45mm size, since it has the most yardage. If you get the other sizes, you get very little. Overall, it was a bit on the pricey side for small amount of thread each, but you get a good amount of colors that you can use. One thing is that I can't seem to find a larger roll of these threads by the same maker, so that means if you need a large amount, you will not find any. The wax on these are stiff and can poke an eye out...more or less. It is not bad once you start stitching as it will get more flexible. I got these to stitch my Blythe size shoes I made since it requires thinner thread. I normally use flat waxed threads so these are a new feeling. I do love it and the colors look great! Even with the small rolls, I will still be able to make many projects like this. I actually re-ordered another set of these colors plus the rainbow set right before this review too!
