These are billed as being essential oils to be used with the Glade diffusers, and when I first tried the idea recently I began to realise that some friends use these for when they have guests! I recognised the scent (in their case it was the Sandalwood "flavour").While I think the range of Glade scents is quite limited, none of them are remotely contentious or attention-seeking, they just overlay any other scents a space might have, and underlay any other scents you might add, such as flowers in a vase. They fit between these two things quite well, I expect there's an art to getting it right. We set our diffusers to minimal settings and manage to get a lot of use from each refill while keeping the ambient scents appealing.The Tropical Blossoms is excellent. I'd say "one of my favourites", except that the subtle naure of these makes them *all* very nice to have scenting your home. There are no bad ones to be found.We usually visit the tropics when we can, usually the Caribbean, and this particular "flavour" really evokes that feeling we have when we arrive landside at an airport and finally get face to face with the local plants (much nicer than the aviation fuel "scent" on the other side of the building!). It's very subtle but always there, just at the threshold of your being able to smell it, not overpowering.But go into a room where the Tropical Blossoms has been wafting around and it's very much like opening a patio door onto a terrace filled with tropical plants, you get a real sense of the smell. The moment you start thinking about something else, it slips into the background and just quietly puts you into that happy, sunny place.I'm not sure why we did without for so long.
