I have another set of similar item. These feel a lot flimsier as someone wrote. They feel like a cheap knockoff. If you aren't sure you want it and want to give it a shot before you spend on a more expensive version, these may be a good way. The other unit I purchase was a lot sturdier but also cost 3x.

I have been on a mission to find the best way to keep my ears clean. I used q-tips for most of my life but started having problems with impacted wax, and they sometimes irritate the skin in my ear canal. I have tried irrigation units that work ok but can be messy. I have tried the scoop instruments with the camera, and those also work fine, but it ends up taking a while to get the job done. This seemed like a nice in between option that is simple to use and wouldn't irritate my ear canalThis is a pretty basic tool. It comes with the plastic wand with several replacement soft ridged tips. The tips fit well into the ear and while turning them the ridges pick up the wax. It is quick and easy which is a selling point for me. It does get most of the wax on the sides of the ear canal, but it isn't as thorough as an irrigation unit at cleaning the whole canal. I prefer this to q-tips because it is easy on the skin and it does a comparable job cleaningThis also includes a set of metal cleaning spoons for extra cleaning. These probably won't get much use, but it's a nice addition for those comfortable using them. There is a suction cup on the bottom of the wand for standing the unit up, but it is basically useless. Overall I like the ease of use for every day cleaning, but it's not going to work as well as other ear cleaning methods
