I love the ultimate guide books! Whether you are doing some home improvements yourself, or you just want to understand terms and procedures so you don't get taken advantage of by companies you're getting estimates from, these books are amazing! They have easy how to step by steps and wonderful pictures. For those who are visual learners. I have five of the books and was able to do a whole remodel on an apartment thanks to them.

Great book for anyone with a little basic knowledge and the desire to do things right. However, I was disappointed in the lack of coverage of the selection and installation of main panels. I had hoped for guidance on the amperage and number of circuits. Otherwise, well laid out and with clear and helpful photos.
