I got this to carry a CD player that looks the same as the one this is designed for, but has a different manufacturer. It fits perfectly, and it has enough room to also store the cord and the remote control in the pocket in the lid. I was not able to fit my wide power block there too, but there is another compartment beneath the CD player that was big enough to fit it. This is a sturdy and well made case, but it does have a strong odor when you first open it. I am hoping the odor will fade away with time.

The first impression when opening this shipment was the stench emitted. (It seems to happen a lot with storage containers I have received lately, not sure why.) I aired it out, outside, for a few days and hit it up with a bit of Febreeze and all was well. After that, it's a nice little size to protect my portable DVD player, with enough room to include the cables.

The case looks fine without opening it. When it was opened, a gross smell from the plastic-like molding/material is blown into the room. I put it near my Wifi air quality monitor, and immediately VOC is sensed.I got this as a free Vine item so no way to return it. I throw it to garbage immediately not letting it harm my breathing system.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the zipper on this case was the, smell. It's quite over powering. Hopefully some of the stench will go away after leaving it opened for a while. The description mentions that a good use for this is as a cd player carrying case. Well the bottom of the case is molded to a specific shape using cloth covered plastic. I can still use the case but it would have been more useful if they had made the bottom molded plastic, removable. It has a zippered compartment in the upper lid which is nice. If you have a few small items they won't be left to rolling around inside the case. The case itself is a canvas covered hard plastic. It is what I would consider semi-rigid construction. If you are looking for a case this size, try looking a little longer.

I actually ordered this for a different intention, I needed a transport case for my mini pc because I do a lot of traveling so my intention with this is to cut out the internal molded portion and replace it with ESD type foam to fit my mini pc but the case is nice, not crush proof like a pelican case or anything like that but should handle normal transportation of a device you want to keep protected.

I own a CD player similar to the one featured in the product pictures. This case fit my CD player perfectly.This hard case is of good quality. The zipper is smooth. There is even a hidden storage area for the remote for the CD player. There is also a zipper pouch for other accessories.Prior to getting this case, my CD player was collecting dust and I couldn't keep track of the remote. Now I have an excellent protective hard shell case that will keep it safe and I won't lose my remote.

We wanted to love this. The material seems solid and well made. Fits perfectly and would work really well as a travel case, but the smell is really really awful. A really foul chemical smell. We put a carbon odor eating pouch and that helps a bit but it still persists. If someone doesn’t mind the smell or perhaps can overpower with something else (perhaps a lavender pouch) then this is for you!
