Excellent value keyboard
Purchased to replace an ages old Corsair full-size board. Tote it to work along with a 10-key and wireless mouse, and use it at home so I type on it quite a lot on a daily basis. Has been great, reliable and excellent value. It has more functions (macros) than I require, but nice to know the function is there if I decide to use.

I'm using it as a wired keyboard with default RGB
Ok, I didn't mess with the software. I have it plugged into my PC and am using it as a wired keyboard as I don't do wireless for gaming...never have, never will. My nephew got a blue switch keyboard kind of like this red switch over the blue ones. I personally think blue is too loud and would hate talking over the clack of the keyboard. This red one is louder than my membrane keyboard, but it has such a nice feel to it and I don't hear it over my headphones in game. The keys are responsive and I feel like the keys respond to slighter presses of the keys than my membrane keyboard does. It comes with some replacement switches and a key puller too. It also comes with 4 Play Station keys to replace your keys. I personally won't be using those as I don't use console anymore. I like the colors of the RGB. I like RGB puke, so I didn't feel the need to go download a software to change it. The colors wake up fast and the keyboard just works. Super responsive. I can't believe it's coming from a USB C cable that's plugged into it. I am still getting used to the 65% keyboard size. I haven't gotten used to not using the number pad for my numbers (have to use the top row numbers) I haven't noticed anything wrong when typing, so the keys seem to be spaced ok. (I don't look to type except for the unfrequently used keys.) The right side alt, fn and ctrl buttons seem a bit smaller and spaced a bit differently, and there's a right click button on my full sized keyboard that is missing, and that pushed the CTRL button over to the left by a key, so I do have to look for those (I programmed an in game shortcut to it), and the arrow keys aren't where they are on my full keyboard as they're over a little to the left to make space and not separated anymore, but other than that, it's ok. And there's no easily accessible home/end button to press quickly without having to do the fn button, but also ok. I think it's pretty nice still despite those changes. For gaming, it works for me. I can't do all the emotes and voice lines since I'm missing a number pad, but that's also ok. It is a really responsive keyboard and I really like using it for gaming now that I have it. It works a lot better than my membrane keyboard (the space bar has gotten a bit...less responsive on the membrane keyboard since I jump too much in games, so having a working space bar is always a step up, haha) I like that it comes with 4 replacement switches and I like how it types and feels and the clicks that it makes are actually pleasing, unlike my nephew's blue keys. So the clacking sound is all a preference to be honest. What do you like about a keyboard and what don't you like? Do you like having a lot of noise as you type? This makes a little more noise than a membrane keyboard, but you can make it sound softer depending on how you press the keys. It kind of has a higher pitch to it. You'll have to hear it to know. I like this sound though.

Good mechanical keyboard (when on sale)
I've been using this mechanical keyboard for a couple of weeks now and it works very well. This keyboard is definitely geared more towards gamers with it's strong RGB lighting and shine-through keycaps. The two USB 2.0 ports, which only work when using the keyboard wired of course, work pretty well for connecting dongles or other peripherals to your PC. The detachable top frame, which uses small plastic clips, works nicely for switching up the look of your keyboard and is extremely easy to take off and put on.The RK-branded red switches are your basic budget linear switches. They do not seem to be factory lubricated and are somewhat scratchy out of the box. Thankfully, the inclusion of 5-pin hotswap sockets means you can upgrade the board with basically any enthusiast-grade switch out there. The stabilizers are tuned pretty well but I still added a little bit of lube, and the OEM-profile keycaps are of good quality. The keyboard comes with plate foam and a sheet of open-cell foam on the inside to help with sound dampening, and opening the board up is easy, with only 6 screws and two internal cables for the battery and USB ports to unplug. The inclusion of foam is great as it helps with sound dampening, although I would've liked to see a little bit more personally. The experience of using the keyboard so far has been very nice, though I personally don't think it's too good of a value unless you can catch it when on sale. Two years ago, a keyboard like this would've been great for the price, but today, I struggle to recommend it with all the other great budget options out there nowadays. With features such as gasket mounts and prelubricated switches increasingly making their way into the budget segment, this keyboard just leaves a little bit too much to be desired. While I understand that, as an enthusiast, I may not be in the target demographic, the features mentioned above make such a huge difference to the overall experience that it's just difficult to recommend a keyboard without those features. It's not a bad board at all, especially since it sounds and feels incredible after having modded it, but it's also not the best board I've seen at this price point.

Ive had this for 1 and ½ of a month and on some keys the rgb died and i never have food or drinks near my setup and i take very good care of this all the keys do still work but dont know why the rgb broke so fast? ive also tried many ways to fix it such as reseting the keyboard and disassembleing it and inpluging and repluging the wires
