Quality. And, here's the spex for do-it-yourselfer projects
These are genuine Strider wheels as indicated on the box, not independent aftermarket components. I didn't buy them for a Strider, I build custom 3-wheel wheelchairs and use either 8 inch or 12 inch front wheels. And have got samples of quite a few, mostly just by buying small bikes, push scooters, etc. but also component wheels. These are the best quality I've seen -- alloy hub, cartridge bearings, no crooked spokes, alloy rim with flat sides suitable for caliper brakes. And they weren't even expensive. There are two to a box-- both the same since they're for a balance bike. Here's the spex, just in case anyone else is thinking of using these for a DIY project.Weight: 1#14 oz. with tire and all hardware.Dropout: 95 mm NOTE: standard bike front wheel dropouts are 100 mm and these will fit with spacers. Many "kids' bikes/scooters" etc. are 95mm with a few 85mm. Make sure the fork you're using is wide enough to accommodate the wheel you're putting into it.Axle hardware is 8x1.00mm, just about the same as a 5/16" axle. Pay close attention if you're doing mix&match games with hardware.Outside width of rim is 25mm.Tire is marked 12x1.75 Nylon, 35 psi, with a direction of rotation mark. No metric info, but rim diameter is 220 mm same as other rims I have. Be aware that tires/wheels this size are often called 12 1/2 inches: as far as I can tell they're the same thing. If in doubt, go by the metric measurements which are based on the rim and not on the expected diameter of an installed tire.Strider says max load weight 60 pounds. It'll probably handle a lot more than that without breaking. The load on the front end of my current prototype presses 40 pounds with me on it, so no problem there. Most of the weight is on the rear wheels. For serious use, you'll probably want to replace the tire with a good quality thorn-resistant tire, or at least install a thorn barrier and Slime or equivalent. It'll probably handle up to about 2 125". I've got a RoyalBaby 27mm wide rim that comes standard with a 2.4" tire., they're pretty good engineers and that's actually what I'm running at the moment on my latest prototype.

Great 👍
The front tire to my double jogging strollers metal components bent & busted. Our local bike shop didn’t have 12” tires so I got this set Amazon prime and was able to have stroller back working again in 2 days. These tires will also work for next step of balance bike. Easy to change and works great!

Great Upgrade!
These are a great addition to an already awesome product, our older son used his balance bike until there was no grip left on the tires, when we handed it down to our younger son it was a little precarious on our street which has some pot holes and gravel. These are real tires, it's a little tricky to inflate them depending on your pump but it really increases the grip and feels like a much more grown up bike for our younger son. Our older son went straight from the balance bike to a peddle bike with no transition in the middle after using the bike for 1-2 years, he even went back and forth between the real bike and the balance bike for a while as he built his confidence, I wish they had these when I was a kid!

Great replacement for the plastic originals, just a slightly heavier.
My two year old had worn out his Strider wheels from racing USABMX Strider series. We purchased these before the 2014 Grand Nationals. They go on easy, had a little challenge filling them up with the stems placement, but nothing disastrous. They are slightly heavier, as my son could spin his Strider 360 very easily prior, but once these were on, he struggled to 180 with only one wheel in the air. No big deal, he will get stronger, but I definitely feel more confident with these on his Strider.

Dont trust your child's safety with this
RETURNED WHEELS. The wheel is extremely cheaply made. Instead of being a solid round rim it is just bent into a circle and laced to hold it together. NOT HEAVY DUTY VERY CHEAP. The tire is and tube would have probably been fine but in no way would I trust this wheel to hold a child much less be considered a heavy duty wheel. THIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF A US BASED COMPANY BEING CHEAP.

Total blow out
Tire and tube busted after sitting unused for one month. It was rode one time.

More traction, but a pain to get to valve stem.
Due to the size of the wheel, it is very hard to inflate. There is not enough space to attach a normal pump chuck to inflate the schraeder valve. The spoke get in the way of the pump head You must bend the schraeder valve in order to inflate, I'm worried this will eventually rip the tube, and who wants to have the change a 12" tire? So far this has not happened, but it is a real pain to inflate the tire. I've seen other designs (as seen on stock Trek Jet 12's), where the valve has a bend outward to make inflation more straight forward.Otherwise, the wheel works well. Definite better traction, especially on wet surfaces, than the stock foam tires from Strider. My was really excited about new wheels. 5-stars from the kid's perspective. 3-star's from his mechanic's perspective. Averages out to 4-stars :)

Easy to install
We got these wheels in prep for strider bike race. Helped to encourage a new kind of rider out of our 3 year old. He turned into a racer and a bmx rider. He knew these wheels were special and fast, and that was enough to get his racing legs moving. Easy to install, easy to fill, and they look fantastic. They even seem a little taller than the original wheels.
