Worked well. It has good temperature stability, heats up very fast and comes with solder wick, solder, many variety of tips.

My basic soldering iron needed replacement. This unit caught my eye. Man am I glad it did! The unit heats up quick and stays hot! It did take a few minutes to get it changed over to Fahrenheit but once I did I was in business!The only down mark is cosmetically, the iron has a slight bend to it, but it functions just fine!

Took a little longer than I thought to heat up, but once it did it worked well. For the price it is great.

This makes soldering Arduino projects much easier, compared to a soldering iron pen. It's more stable, faster, and way more precise with temperature. Great value.

I bought this because I forgot to turn off my old soldering station and it burned out. This one will turn its self off. Got it a a great price and it works well.

I had high hopes for this product when I bought it, but it just didn't do the job. I was using it to rewire the electronics on an electric bass guitar, and I was very surprised to find that it just didn't heat elements enough to allow the solder to flow onto them. I tried all the different included tips, just in case it was a matter of the tip not making enough surface contact with the element, but the result was the same will all of them. I would have to keep the iron on the element for upwards of a minute before I could get solder to melt at all. I started with temperature settings between 650°-700° F, but when that didn't work, I tried some higher temperature settings - even as high as 850°. In the end, the best I could get was a lumpy cold solder joint.To make this doubly disappointing, I didn't try out the unit out before the end of the return period, so now I'm stuck with it, and will have to buy another (and better) one.If you buy this unit, be sure to try it right away after you buy it, to make sure it does what you need it to do.

Although heating up is impressivly quick, it lacks power to solder larger wire joints, but still happy with purchase.

Love the temp control in both measurements (F/C)Nice solder iron, light weight but doesn’t take away from its effectiveness, highly recommend
