So I read great things about Berberine. I was looking for a natural way to regulate my blood sugar and help with the food noise. I can see why it’s called natural ozempic. It does just that. I’ve been on the shot. I just couldn’t handle the side effects so I gave up. In 1 month on the shot I lost 8 lbs. Ended up gaining it back unfortunately. I decided I’ll try a natural approach. I’ve been taking Berberine twice a day. It has curved my appetite so well and I no longer really have junk food cravings. It’s no miracle worker. You have to make sure that you balance good food choices. As of today, I have lost 4 pounds in two weeks. I’m going to continue taking it and see if it will help me get to my goal weight.

Beware of the side effects! First, it takes 2-3 weeks for your body to adapt. It can cause stomach pain, bloating, and discomfort at first, but it will pass.Second, berberine is used in China to combat loose bowels which translates to difficulty going the bathroom if you are taking it for other purposes. Drink EXTRA water, eat fiber, and consider a stool softener if it doesn't subside.Lastly, this is an herb that needs a break every now and then. Try taking it for 4-6 weeks and then taking a 1-2 week break. It builds up in your system, like most herbal supplements, and you want to give it time to fully pass.I'm taking berberine for insulin support. I'm not sure of its effectiveness just yet, but I'll know after my next labs. The quality and the price are on point, so that's a win for me.

I have only been taking for a few days. No gastro issues, but I did have some jitteriness yesterday morning (I usually take less than recommended for everything so this is not surprising). I am having very vivid dreams. Nothing disturbing, just dreams. I really wish these were capsules that could be split in half because I believe 500mg would be better for my situation due to the jitteriness. I have opted to buy a lower dosage.

Im not going to post a before and after pictures because it's only been 2 weeks and I haven't really lost any weight...but with the change in my appetite I have been feeling soo much better. My days were literally revolving around snacking...constantly eating because I was bored or tired or sad or even happy. I have tried so many different vitamins and meal replacements, nothing has ever really made too much of a difference when it came to how often I was snacking. I was a couple days away from seeing my pcp to get on some kind of glp1 and I came across this on tiktok and decided to give it a shot. I cannot recommend this vitamin enough!

I prefer to keep all my vitamins and supplements from the same brand, and I’ve been very happy with Nature’s Bounty overall. I’ve taken their Berberine 1000mg before and had a great experience with it.However, this time around, I think there was a manufacturing mishap. I ordered both the Nature’s Bounty Berberine 1000mg and their Chromium Picolinate 800mg, and both arrived together late last night. When I opened the package, I noticed that the protective seal on the Berberine was not applied correctly — it was upside down and stuck to the cap instead of being properly sealed on the bottle.Because of that, I’m not comfortable consuming anything that doesn’t have a proper seal. That said, I’m still confident in the brand and will be reordering the same product, hoping the next one comes sealed correctly.

Love this stuff for my blood pressure! Before I started taking it BP ran super high after I hit a certain age and now it runs lower like it was in my 20's again!

This has really helped control my blood sugar. I recommend this for any diabetic. Even if my morning fasting sugar is 120 to 130. Of If I take this with a “healthy breakfast” and my morning dose of Metformin my blood sugar about 2 hours after eating is close to 100.
