Received the door lock from Amazon a day early. The airbags were flattened in the Amazon box, funny. But how the lock is pack in the retail box is perfect. Took the OEM door lock out and proceeded to install the new, I had trouble and need a extra hand to hold the out side piece in as I aligned the rods after connecting the wires. My Wife was glad to help. After I put all inside and door jam screws and bolts in, the Carmtek fit like a glove. We programed the numbers first as described in the book. Followed the directions to program the keys fobs and it worked perfect. We think we will be happy with this add on. I actual like grabbing the door handles from both the inside and out to open the door. The old one just did not have the amount of grab area like the Carmtek does. Now I have solid hold of the door as the gas strut likes to take off while opening. The unit is vert stout and looks like it will stand up to the weather. I feel very safe with this unit installed and now do not have to worry about having Keys to get in my motorhome home or away. Did put a exrta 4 battries inside the junk drawer with a philps screw driver for when we will need it. Nice

It took me less than 5 minutes to install. It’s bigger than my old lock but it works great and seems to be well built.

The CARMTEK - RV Keyless Entry Door Lock is well made. The parts have been manufactured to a high level of quality. After installed it worked excellently. Issues: The instructions are sketchy. Some steps are left out. A parts list would be nice. My package did not include some parts. Fortunately, the parts on the lock that was replaced worked. If you are not mechanically inclined installation would be frustrating. Again. After installation works very well.

Easy to install and program. Good quality and will probably buy a 2nd one for trailer.

works perfectly. Almost didn't fit door clear jam by 1/8 inch. If you put the spacer on it the opening on the lock side would show. The reason I gave it a 5 was because it was the only one that would fit. Works Perfectly well on opening and keypad, keys and fobs. Make sure to measure the door opening and it says for a Class C M/H. An A Class M/H was too little..

Not an issue removed old one and installed new one less than an hour

This is a high quality product. I did have to file my door to make it fit perfect.

Installation was ok, works fine. disadvantage is the battery compartment. screws are not locked in place so they will fall out when the cover is removed. Need both hands holding the battery's in as you slip the cover back on. Would be nice if you could just hit lock without entering your code.
