Excellent product to close leaks in spa plumbing
I had a leak coming from the hardest fitting to get to - the drain in the bottom well of the spa. I removed the front and side panel to find the leak and my friend saw it under the middle of the tub, right where the drain elbow is. We added one full bottle since my spa is 450 gallons and I ran the main 2 pumps for 20 minutes, 6 times per day for 3 days.I only have a very small drip now that as far as i am concerned is acceptable. There is no way to really get to this fitting other than draining the spa and then tilting the whole thing up to access the drain. Follow the instructions exactly. I also agitated the water in the tub with a broom to stir up the material as it is heavier than water. I did this stirring every time I ran the 2 main pumps. I did have to do this for almost three days to get it to the point of the one drip per hour that I have. I also left a small pie pan under the elbow to capture and evaporate any water. We did contact the company and they suggested that we drain the spa and do another application. We had a thought that the leak could be in one of three spots: flange to tub, cracked elbow or leak from the tube that is glued to the elbow.I applied a marine-grade silicon caulk to the drain flange/spa surface to try to minimize any further leaks. We added some die penetrant and could not tell where the leak was but did confirm that it was the drain. We emptied the drain line and added 1 oz of stop leak material to a gallon of water and poured this right into the drain line. We then filled the tub again and the company CS team member said to get a piece of tubing and apply the rest of the bottle right over the drain and then let it sit for two days before turning on the pumps. Guess what, no leaks! Amazing.I have checked several times over the last two days after the second application and no leaks. I turned the heater and pumps on to filter any residue left in the tub and we should be good to go once the chemicals are added.Overall, this product is amazing and if my friend had not told me to try this I would have had to lift the spa and replace the fitting. I would try this on any spa leaf first and see what happens. GREAT PRODUCT!

It Worked! It Actually Worked! Until it didn’t. Six month UPDATE
My Hot Springs spa is 30 years old and I have performed several repairs over the last 7 years that I have owned it. It still works fine and it meets my therapeutic needs. I recently moved 700 miles and loaded it on a trailer. At my new place I set it up it and it had developed a small very slow leak. I tried finding the leak but it was obviously coming from inside the styrofoam insulation. No way could I find it. While searching for a new hot tub and being shocked by the cost of a new one, I came across Marlig Fix A Leak. At first I thought, no way could this work. But the reviews made me want to take a chanceOnce I received the bottle I followed the instructions removing the filters and poured in the bottle. By the very next day there was no more leak. The instructions say to drain the spa and let it sit for a few days to cure if the air temperature is not going to be too cold. Well it is very cold, below freezing at night here, so I opted to not drain the tank. I did replace the water (330 gallons). It has now been 25 days since I used the Fix A Leak and the patio is still completely dry. I am truly amazed and very happy! This stuff actually works!!!Update: one week after the above review and singing, its praises, the leak returned. I’m going to order another bottle and try it again.Update. So I ordered another bottle. This time I waited for Spring and warmer weather. I followed the directions once again and let the hot tub run on high all day. Then i I drained the tub and let it sit empty for an entire week in the warmer weather. I refilled the hot tub and no more leak. That has been six month that I did the second treatment. I think the key was to let it sit empty for a few days. I use t hot tub almost daily and in six months not a drop leaked out. This stuff really works but do empty the spa after treatment and let it sit for a few days.I am very happy that my now 31 year old hot tub still works great and doesn’t leak! I upgraded my review to five stars!!!

Holy crap, this stuff works!
Bought a new two speed pump to replace the one that was leaking. I thought, what the hay, I’ll try this stuff first since I was already going to drain and refill the spa. Put the line cleaner in for a day and then put this stuff in. A day later I turned the pumps on to high, no leak! Now I have to figure out what to do with a brand new pump…

Worked for a week
It stopped the leaks in my 2003 master spa legend series after two days. I pulled filters, dumped it, ran all jets for a few cycles for a day. The water was still leaking out after day one.One day two I ran it again and the leak marks on the concrete were reduced. On day three there was no more water below the hot tub. I’ve kept it in my tub for a week or so and I’m going to drain it next. How long it holds is the question but it has stopped the immediate leaking onto the concrete which is impressive. I hope it can mean a couple years more life to this hot tub.*update*I drained the tub for about 36 hours then started it up again. It held for a day or two but then the leak returned. Maybe I’ll buy another bottle and not drain the tub this time.

Worked easy, did job well.
Did very good job of sealing minor pvc joint leaks in hot tub, lasted for years with no trouble. A fellow mowing our lawn bumped it with his mower and put a serious hole and dent in the tub wall. I fixed that. It also moved some pipes enough to allow small leak. Not leaking now.
