The bin works well but the suction has improved so much that my battery has to work harder and wears down quicker.

The clip to the bottom lid chipped early & the gray nozzle piece broken today. It's cheaply made don't waste your money.

We have been using this for a few months with our Dyson v8 Animal, because the original part broke when the vacuum fell over. It was a little bit difficult to get all of the pieces to fit onto our vacuum and together correctly, but once we did it worked fine. However, just now while vacuuming, the dust bin plastic completely snapped from the bottom part, exposing the wiring and making the vacuum unusable. I’m frustrated because when I attempted to message the seller to get support, I wasn’t given the option and was only given prompts to “troubleshoot on your own.”

Fits well on my Dyson v7. I am able to pull the tab to empty it. It's not a perfect fit like a genuine parts but it's functional. No complaints I would recommend this a replacement if your original is damaged.

This didn’t work with my Dyson v7 . I can install it but once it’s in place it jams up and you can’t empty dust bin easily, or at all. I felt like I was going to break my vacuum by trying to yank the dust bin down to open it. It came in an order with multiple items so I can’t even return it because I don’t know what the original packaging looks like as I buy a lot of stuff online and have never made a return before :(

After only a few uses, the inside of the bin is much more scratched and cloudy than I expected, it's quickly catching up to the original 6-7 year old bin. For now, it works and it removed the sloppy feel of the original bin. This is due to the grey plastic dyson uses developing small fractures through their plastic over time causing extra flex and small air leaks. in the end, I'm happy, saved some money with Prime days. I doubt I'd purchase it again as the cost from the OEM isn't that much, and I like clearly seeing the dirt, (or bugs, swirling around to their doom....4 weeks no people does not give you the right to colonize my apartment. But do enjoy the Advion, the Dyson is ready to greet you tomorrow.

It fits the Dyson v8 but once you pop it in. The lid won’t close. I tried so many times, felt like I was about to break my vacuum. Will be returning it
