Figured I'd try these as I own an outdoor equipment shop and don't like oil on my concrete floor, these mats are more cost effective than the Pig mats however I have noticed these mats claim high absorbency, oil soaks right through them onto the floor! Granted they are less expensive and larger than the better mats and these would make good workbench mats hence the 4 star rating, but for soaking up oil, stick with the Pig mats for peace of mind.

Excellent supplies to have on hand for all DIY garages. Absorbs oil, water, fuel, and nearly any liquid automotive type fluid. Totally disposable makes cleanup a breeze.

These FlashDry oil absorbent pads really work for soaking up spilt oil. I recently had to tear down a blown side by side motor, so I put a couple of these pads down under the motor before I began the tear down process. When they say they are only for oil and fuels they mean it, because none of the coolant that leaked on to the pads was absorbed, but all of the oil was soaked right up. That made cleaning my workbench a thousand times easier. They can soak up and hold a lot of oil but learn the limitations of because they can only absorb so much.The pads I received all measure true to the advertised size. They come in a box with a panel that tears out for easy dispensing sort of like a tissue box. I have been wanting to try another brand of absorbent pads, but when I came across these, I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I tried them out for myself because I like how well they perform. They help me clean and prevent oily messes. I would buy these again and I can recommend them to others.
