This book is great and I'm so glad his daughter wrote a book about her wonderfully talented father. I wanted to know more about Sammy Davis Jr. because I watched him as a child and my parents loved him. I did not know he went through so much and endured such pain during his life due to racism. The book has many photos ~ some I have never seen before. The book is a keepsake for me. I wish the world would have appreciated this man more.

It was a great slant on the life of an amazingly talented man. I got to see what the ‘real’ Sammy was like & he was a great man.

it was a great book years ago I read his life but his daughter's telling about her father gave me tears, laughter and joy. I was fortunate to live part of later years and even seen him on stage. what a performer. everyone should read it

It was a "feel good" kind of story. We need more of those. Loved the pictures. Tracey added to her dad's story. I had so enjoyed her father's biography that he had written and she completed the picture in a loving way.

The print was too small and too light. Could not finish it.

I haven't read it all yet but I'm a huge Sammy Davis fan and could expect nothing but love and compassion from his daughter. The book arrived in great condition and is on my night stand.

Read it in one sitting. I knew Tracy and her mother and brothers when they were at Lake Tahoe and was curious about them. In reading I learned so much about Sammy and the affection Tracy has for him.

Very interesting perspective from the daughter's point of view.

It was a very repetitive biography written by Sammy's daughter. I think it was a little lofty but understandable because it was her father she was writing about. The content was interesting and it portrayed Sammy as a ground breaker in many ways.

Brings back memories of the greatest entertainer ever & and his friends The Rat Pack who I was lucky enough to see at The Royal Albert Hall on their last tour.The reminder made me shed more than one tear and realise how much Sammy and the others are missed
