WOAH!!!
This stuffs amazing!! How do you get so much flavor in one little powder. It’s sour, it’s sweet, it’s tangy, it’s delicious! I made a chicken marinade with it and some citrus and it was a huge hit, it’s also great on cocktail rims!

Tamarind, or tamarind husk?
I purchased this item to add that delicious tamarond flavor to my cooking. I tasted it at first, and it wasn't right. I've processed a lot of tamarind in my time, and this powder smells and tastes mostly of the hull. Which is not pleasant at all. Even the color and texture of the powder tells me it's is mostly likely made with the husks. Please avoid if you want tamarind flavor.

DO NOT BUY! Absolutely no reason why it has maltodextrin which is far worst than sugar for pre-diabetic and diabetics. Says contains bioengineered foods. WHY?!!!!!!!!
