Sturdy but...
Bag is well made, good straps, good size. Rides close to the body not like other drypacks I have that ride at an angle. Only major complain is the foam material on the inside. After rinsing the inside of the bag with water it took two days for the material to fully dry, i even put a stick in between the two sides at the top of the bag to keep it open and let air get in the bag. All in all a good bag so far...

Heavy but what can you expect for sturdiness. After 20 miles your shoulder hate you.

Solid Dry Bag! I am excited for this Spring/Summer!
I am really impressed by this bag. I bought it a couple of days ago (early february in SLC, Utah) and am really excited to use it this spring/summer. The bag feels very durable and yet seems quite comfortable for carrying around sporting goods/things that need to be kept dry while going into areas that could be wet. When i purchased the bag, I didn't realize that it comes with a laptop holder that velcros inside? Perhaps this will be useful for people going into the field for long trips, but personally I would be using this in an environment where I wouldn't need/want a laptop. Each to their own. This bag is large enough to hold gear/food/supplies for a day trip/exploring in the nature. There are more straps than I had expected which is great, and I am sure they will be used later on. I just bought a 20L bag as well from Rockagtor and put it inside for a perspective. (See Pictures) Also I thinik the bag is bigger than it looks when it is on me, I am 5' 10", but I rolled the top up a few more times than was probably necessary. My boss's boss suggested that I look at them, as he had bought one to use to go canyoneering with rock climbing gear in areas where there is water up to mid chest (He is about 6' 2")I don't have the gear to go canyoneering, but I will definitely be using this bag when I go exploring more in the PNW, Zion's and also back up into the Uintas more this spring/summer.

A 'water-proof' backpack, suitable for canoe trips.
This is a roll-top style backpack. Packaging says its waterproof for "short submersions". Used it on multi-day canoe/camping trip where it rained during trip -- did indeed keep contents dry. Materials seem to be of high-quality. Overall weight is a bit heavy, but ok for short hikes.

Zion Canyoneering test
Bought this pack for a canyoneering trip in Zion National Park. Reviews and specs seemed good so I gave it a shot. The pack pretty burley and has a ton of space. I’m 6’3” and the pack fits comfortably. The shoulder straps and waist straps are comfortable and easy to adjust, even mid rappel. The ability to have multiple attachment points on the exterior are a big plus if your ever looking at using it as a pothole anchor. With multiple jumps into water, the bag stayed completely dry and was quite buoyant and helped with long canyon swims. My only hang up with this pack was it’s craftsmanship. After day 2 I had stitching coming undone around waterproof seams and I ended up getting 2 small pinholes in the side of the pack on a fairly easy canyoneering day. I feel like the pinholes will be an easy patch but going forward I’ll still use a dry bag inside of this pack. If your looking at short day trips, this pack might be too big but if your looking at a multi day trip or a 20+ hour day I’d recommend. With the integrity of the pack in question I gave 3 stars. If the stitching and pinholes weren’t an issue, I’d have given it 5/5.

Great pack durable and ready for life
Great waterproof back pack. Every bit as good as any other back pack on the market except this one is waterproof with tons of storage options. Easy to open and seal up. Locks down so the top is not flapping all over. Has external storage for water bottles or a Jacket, or a couple snack bars. Lots of straps and excess nylon webbing. Some of which I just secured because I don’t use chest straps or waist straps. But all the materials are 100% durable seeming to be of military grade similar to my other packs that can be jumped from air craft. And it fits as a carry on. Well at least the 30L does. Overall great. I want one for each family member. My new go to pack for travel, adventure sports and motorcycle riding. Enjoy.

Built tough
I bought this as a bug out bag for my wife. She isn't the most competent of swimmers, so anything to keep her above water during water crossings is a plus. I tested it out and it wouldn't hold air, but did keep out water. I'll keep looking for something else for her, but the quality of the bag impressed me so much that I'm going to hang onto it anyway. I'll post again after a few camping trips with it.

Is not waterproof but still a good pack
I do a fair amount of canyoneering and i wanted a pack that i wouldn't have to put everything in smaller water proof bags. Unfortunately, the half inch of water and my soaked clothes let me know this pack wasn't the solution. It still worked great for everything else and i use it regularly, but you will need to use something else to keep your gear dry.
