## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be used dry, for smoothing a vertical surface?**
A: yes, no problem. It will grind most stone, concrete, brick, tile -type things i would have thought.  Takes some practice to get the correct angle so that it doesn't dig in too aggressively.  Main downside is that it produces some vibration in the angle grinder so grinding away for a long time with no break is going to be tough.

**Q: Any use for removing tile adhesive off of a chipboard floor?**
A: yes it will do the job but be carefull they are made for use on concrete not chipboard

**Q: I need to grind out a horizontal channel in a concrete block wall, will this do it?**
A: I don't think this is the best tool for your job. This disk is for surface grinding. What you want is a stone cutting disk. Cut several slots close together with the cutting disk to the width and depth you want and then use a suitable metal chisel/bolster (not a wood working chisel) to remove the remaining thin slivers of concrete to form the channel.

**Q: Can i put a bevelled edge on a granite worktop with this ?**
A: I think you want a router with an appropriate bit, i.e. a diamond one for stone.
