This US set has 8 films on 4 discs (the quality is not affected by having 2 films on each disc), the UK set has 4 films, each with extras, on 4 discs and a fifth disc with a documentary about Hammer's relationship with Universal. None of these extras are included in this US set. The four films included here but missing from the UK set are Paranoiac, Nightmare, The Phantom of the Opera and The Evil of Frankenstein. The UK set's Captain Clegg, is on here under it's US title of Night Creatures. Although Amazon says the set is region A it is region free and will play on UK Blu-ray players.

fortunately all eight movies in set previously unseen by me ; altho some in monochrome ; overall worth watching; will play on any bd player...

Good set of Hammer films. One stands out Curse of the Werewolf, with a young Oliver Reed.

Great collection from hammer with marvellous picture and sound.

If only more collections could be fitted into boxsets like this one which is like a single disc box. Picture and sound quality seems at least as good as the available dvd versions - I haven’t compared them all yet. Good collection even if not all would be highly rated. Lovely set and good service from the US seller.

This is a American import that plays on UK systems, picture and sound quality is good.

Classic Hammer can't beat it.
