Great Value+Husband Installed=Thumbs Up!
Husband installed himself, replaced recessed lighting “boxes”. We had a professional close in the boxes/drywall work on ceiling. Husband has installed these type of lights before (different brands); he says they were easy to install and he mentioned they are a very good value for the money. They put off great bright light and provide a nice update. The last photo is before (flooring update is next!!) Hope these photos are helpful.

Perfect lights!
I absolutely love these lights. The color is fantastic. Not everyone will like these in a home, but I really do since I want to see EVERYTHING in my house. the really do mount very low profile, I had 2 instances where, when I was cutting out the hole for these, I landed right on the truss. Since the light itself was thinner than my drywall, it didn't cause any issue at all. I have about 40 of these around my house.

spectacular product with a great price.
These lights are even thinner than the thickness of the drywall it mounts in. The real value of that is that you can get an EXACT placement no matter where the ceiling joists are located. I've used lots of other designs and this is the easiest. It even comes with push in wire connectors. The only thing you need besides the house wiring is a push-in plastic wire retainer for each unit. They are even shower use ok. The separate junction box does not require one installed in the ceiling.
