I bought his for my cat who has ear polyps and collects wax. Regular Qtips are hard to get in there without discomfort. These worked out well. However I tried one on myself and when I clean my ears I'm usually mining for gold and these don't enter the ear canal far enough for me to strike it rich :)

This product is very painful to use, wouldn’t recommend.

Yhe Smart Swab - Spiral Ear Cleanser - Earwax Remover Tool works great and is affordable. It is easy to replace the tips and use it to remove the wax out of your ear. A lot more effective than Q-Tips.

The person I got it for has small ear canal and it did not work for her very well.

These are much better than qtips but I think they are little too long.

I may be a little biased. Definitely was not what I was expecting. Too soft and flexible. I also thought it was reusable, but each tip has to be disposed of after each use even if nothing comes off on the tip. The packing was nice and clean, but I was searching for reusable and this popped up in that search. Granted the wand is reusable but the tips are not. I still used q-tips afterwards because I felt these silicone tips did not get the job done.

Recently realized I was not cleaning my ears properly using Cotton swabs. As doctors say cotton swabs push the earwax down deeper I felt while I see some smeared wax on the cotton swab it also pushes some in the back of the ear causing clogs and hearing problem. Thanks to “Smart Swab “ I am now effectively removing my earwax, preventing build up and I really liked the wide stopper at the end of each tip that doesn’t let me reach or poke my ear drum which was something I used to be worried about with cotton swab. We trashed it instead of getting our money back. It's not worth the time. We tried all tips to see if the first 3 were duds but nope. Our ear wax didn't stick to it one bit. Not our 2 childrens and not 2 adults That's 4 different wax types by the way. *Wet stretchy (maybe like melted cheese but wax) *Thick sticky and sometimes a thin layer like dead lip skin type deal layered all around inside the ears *Orange hard and hard to get out *Light orange and a mixture of thick & sticky with light orange and stretchy So idk who can use this but good luck yall
