ok? now? i will say this can be a 5 star! kinda is for me? HOWEVER! i have the means and a Facility having a Machine shop this was an easy fix "For Me" however! for 90% out there? this will be a VERY Frustrating Experience! ,as the Holes "ARE Drilled" for the Tremolo springs! but! they are drilled "Straight Down"so when you put in the "Springs" they Will "Pop" out the SECOND you move the Bar!!if notice other types of Brass Blocks they have the holes drilled in an "Angle" so you will need a number 53 or a 54 drill bit, and drill at an "Angle" if you have a small drill Press, and a Means to hold the Block at an Angle, you should be good to go!! if not? this might be something to pass on? i thought as well would have them drilled at an Angle? and been down the road before! and my Apprentice was Convinced would work! after 3rd attempt? i asked if he was ready to do it right? LOL once drilled worked like a charm!so is it worth the price? 100% IF YOU HAVE the Means to Drill the Holes! if not? could be frustrating?only reason i gave it a couple of stars? cause most may not have the ability to do so?for me? would i buy again? sure? at 12bucks? sure cheaper than buying a whole block!! and Milling and shaping down! and Drill and Tap the holes that hold the plate! only because i can redill the Spring holes Consistently at the given angle needed easily for me. you CAN do it by hand! but just takes a Little Patience and go Slowly!! and maybe 2 or 3 extra bits? "Just in Case , so if have the OLD Floyd Block, can kinda get idea for the "Angle Needed"
