A beautifully presented book with a high quality binding, cloth cover, and creamy alkaline paper, this is a book for life. Unfortunately the delivery guys left my copy outside in the rain, and the dust sheet was rather spoiled, but it was nevertheless a very pleasant surprise to discover that the publisher has produced such an excellent volume. The text is of course the most important part of the book. I don't read Greek, so can't comment on the translation quality, though all the indicators are that it is good, and in numerous notes the Greek words or phrases are indicated. It's a privilege to now be able to read the extant homilies of Palamas both for study and spiritual guidance and instruction. Hopefully more of his works will be forthcoming!

235 pounds for a book that was sold few years ago from the publisher for 75€, it is a robery. Amazon should not allow this corrupted sellings. The book itself, is a rarity and in the Roman Orthodox Church.
