High quality and attractive
We have a 15 foot diameter cantilevered umbrella that came with a cheap cover that only lasted two summers. We've owned a Duck cover for a smaller 9 foot patio umbrella for several years and it has provided us with good service for several summers. The Duck 101 cover is well engineered and constructed. It has a top loop for installation that we use for lifting with an extendable pole I mounted a hook on just for this umbrella cover. Once installed and zipped on our cantilevered umbrella, there is allot of surplus fabric that flutters in stiff winds. We always install a couple small bungee cords around the outside where there's extra fabric to keep it from fluttering and whipping itself to threads. The quality of this cover should give us years of good service. We only use it during 4 summer months. Our umbrellas are stored indoors during late fall, winter and early spring storms.

Excellent quality!
Very impressed with the quality of the cover! I think it will definitely offer the protection Iām looking for! The one item that falls short is the strength of the 2 thin collets used to join the 3 sections of the lift pole. One collet splitout on me the first time I lifted the cover. The pole sections themselves are fine, they just need heavy weight pvc connectors like you would get in the plumbing section of Loweās or a Home Depot. For the folks who said the pole was too short, Iām 5ā10ā and installed it flat footed. The secret is you donāt seat the end of the pole all the way at top of cover when you lift it. You place the end of pole right behind the end of the zipper near the top and lift it up and guide both sides of the cover over either side of the umbrella. Pretty easy really. I would give 5 stars but for the thin pole connectors. Matter of fact, Iām gonna give them 5 stars anyway for the quality of the cover. Iāll give them a pass on the pole connectors.

Nice Product, Challenging to Deploy
I purchased two of these for my rectangular cantilever umbrellas. I really like the thick material and ruggedness of these covers. Unfortunately, they donāt make them in colors to match your umbrellas. I wanted blue, but they donāt offer that. Oh well. The cover comes with a 3-piece PVC pipe ādeployment tool.ā You have to put the pipes together and use them as an extension of your arms so that you can lift the cover up and over a 96ā umbrella. For those who donāt understand, you need to lift it over 8 1/2 feet to get it up and over the umbrella. The PVC couplings they provided BROKE on my first attempt. They just arenāt strong enough. So, you either have to use a ladder with some sort of pole or broom handle OR, use some sort of telescoping pole like a painters pole, a tree trimming pole or even one of those used with a circular brush to remove spider webs. I use the telescoping brush which works like a charm and, because of the brush, it wonāt damage the cover over time.Apart from the cheesy PVC pipes, this product is pretty good. I cannot give it a 5-Star rating, but itās higher than a 4-Star. So, I give it a solid 4.5 rating even if I couldnāt get it in the color I wanted.

Great quality, could use one more section of pole to assist in getting it over the top.
We get punishing winds here in Albuquerque and these are holding up. The ones that came with the umbrellas tore in the first few months.

Duck Cover For Deck Umbrella
This cover is GREAT!! I have a large deck umbrella, one that came with it after two years started falling apart from UV light from sunlight. This material is TUFF.. I cut a lot of fire wood, wish my coveralls were made of this stuff. Fits umbrella completely to base, ( I ordered the longer one) has a nice draw band to keep it secure. Great Product. You can stop looking, this is the one you want!

AWESOME PRODUCT !
The durability and quality of this umbrella cover is amazing. We have purchased Duck brand covers for other items in our yard and have been well satisfied. Of course, they donāt last forever, however they are exceptional in every way. High quality, durability, protection against the elements⦠We will continue to buy this product and many more. They do, however fade, and overtime they do deteriorate.

Good but needs improvement
I'm not sure what measuring tool they use to advertise 101" but it's certainly not. It's about 96". I bought it because it said 101". The canvas material is nice and sturdy. The zipper is better than most but could use a slight upgrade. The most frustrating part is the zipper location and the extension pole to hoist it over the top of the umbrella. The zipper is located 3' down from the top which means you have to hoist it high with the canvas material on top of that flopping around. With the useless 3-piece quasi-PVC pipe that goes into a sewn-in pocket that goes only to the top of the zipper, it's a struggle to get the whole thing over the top of the umbrella. In my case, that overall height is about 9' off the ground (10' x 13' umbrella with base). The included plastic tube is so flimsy and it comes in 3 short sections with press in union fittings. With the weight of this cover, it's literally useless. I will need to get a sturdy dowel rod (at least 6' long, the 5' one I have is just too short to make this easy) or real PVC pipe to hoist this cover over the top to clear the zipper hole so gravity can drop the weight of it down over the umbrella. If the pole pocket and the pole itself were designed differently, it would get a 5 star.

Best cantilever covers for the price.
We bought two cantilever covers. We have one on our pool deck and one on our flag stone. These covers are very well made. They thicker then our previous covers and better made. We were a little worried, because we had to return previous order covers because they were so thin. We knew the first windy day would tear them apart. These will definitely hold up to the wind and the rain. Great product!

Durable, quality cover
As other reviewers have already stated, the built in rod is a joke. However, I am still giving this 5 stars. I threw away the rod and simply use a sturdy broom stick when I need to put it up or remove it. I only put this on before the winter and take it off in the spring. The real value here is the quality material and durability of the cover. Just put it through a rough winter and it's as good as new. I only wish they had covers that fit my other patio furniture. My covers by other brands aren't doing so well.

Solid Cover
Wanting to protect our expensive umbrella I decided to go for this cover over cheaper ones. We've been using it for almost 2 years now. It survived 2 nasty winters and is still going strong. It's faded in the sun but there is no wear or tear of the material.I skipped using the pole after reading reviews here, I use an old broom handle instead.

Good Quality Fabric but Overpriced, Useless Installation Pole
Used on my 10' square cantilever umbrella and it fits very well. The material itself seems very durable and leakproof, but the installation pole is completely useless. It's 3 pieces of flimsy plastic pole joined together by 2 plastic connectors. It buckled very easily under the weight of the cover and kept snapping off as I tried to raise the cover over my umbrella. I had to resort to getting out a step ladder and using a pair of hockey sticks to guide the cover over top of my umbrella which did the trick. For the money paid, I would have expected a better installation method and perhaps a draw string on the bottom to cinch up (used a rope instead), but regardless, the cover works and is very durable so far (and arrived as promised).

Really good cover. šā
Indeed, I confirm that the stick is of very low quality and the length leaves something to be desired. Better to change it for a broomstick. The "Duck cover" is excellent for covering the post and canvas of my 10'x10' square umbrella.

Nice and solid cover
Nice looking cover manufactures with good quality materials. It has gone through several heavy storms so far since I bought it and has surpassed my expectations and kept my umbrella dry. The only thing that I may rattle about is that at first it took me a couple of tries to install it and remove it from my umbrella, but now I have mastered the move and I can install it and remove it in a snap. Good buy
