Franko's CURACAO Guide & Dive Map Map – November 1, 2010

Pros: I like the use of icons - dive flag for scuba locations and a snorkel mask for snorkel locations.Many times it tells you how far from shore to go for snorkeling.Also lists food, bathrooms, etc.Nice expanded maps of Willemstaad on the reverse side.Pictures of fish w/ names.Rip resistant and waterproof.Con: It would be helpful if they could add an icon with a picture of a boat when the only way to access the snorkel area is by boat. Right now, you have to read each one carefully to see if you can access it from shore or if you have to take a boat.Very helpful and I can't wait to use it on my vacation.

This "map" is not really a map at all - useless for driving around the island! The "map" portion basically shows a satellite image with an inlay of Willemstad - it shows only a few major streets by name. On the other side is a list of snorkel and dive sites, plus reef wildlife.I purchased the reef fish id and dive site card, which is great - this "map" basically repeats all that info in a much bigger format. The fish/dive card is a far better buy if you're going to dive Curacao for the first time because it is much smaller, laminated, and hole-punched for diving already, and it costs a few dollars less than this product.Unfortunately it looks like we'll have to wait until we get to Curacao to get a decent road map.

Helpful. Hard to get maps of curacao. This map showed the beaches and roads. We used it a lot of the time.

My wife and I really enjoyed this resource. We were only able to check out a handful of the sites on our honeymoon, but we really enjoyed trying to identify the sea life that is identified on the map. We also found the sites listed to be described accurately.

Franko's makes the BEST maps. They fold up flat, take up little space, and are water-resistant. We take them on vacation when visiting the Caribbean Islands or Hawaii.

The most detailed map of dive sites, beaches and Willemstadt available. We had people asking to borrow it. Highly recommend it
