Prank Star Microscope

I was surprised at how well this works. You have to zoom in a little with the camera (so you just see through the lens, rather than the area around it), but then it works without refocusing. That's a big improvement over trying to take macro photos, where it can be tough for the camera to focus. The microscope can see well for things up to a millimeter or so away, but is basically intended for putting right on top of the thing to image. It fits very well on thinner phones, but I almost ruined the foam padding trying to shove it on an LG Optimus V (old phone for toddler to use).

I ordered one of these to try out with my iPad. It worked so well, that I have purchased 7 more to share with family and friends. This is a neat little gadget that uses your iPad or phone camera and magnifies it 50 times. It's better than a magnifying glass!!! Oh year, and you can take pictures of what you're looking at!!!

For the price ($9) this was a cheap microscope that works well enough for my second graders to see some pretty neat things...skin, hair, money!

This thing is awesome! Just clip it on, zoom in all the way and make sure what you are trying to look at is right up against the veiwer. Lots of fun And very easy to use

Really fun item and useful! You can see so much detail on what you look at.

We use this for homeschool. My professor brother introduced us to it for rock identification. Best $15 we ever spent on school gadgets.

Super cool! We use this with and for my 4 year old son who is inquisitive about everything. A really great tool for learning.

I'm writing a review for others thinking of buying this that have a Samsung galaxy 10. It fits, but only over the camera on the right side, and in a thin case. I had a wallet case on it, and it didn't work. But even with no case, it only fits on the one camera. It's cool though, and not expensive so it's worth it. I homeschool my daughter, so it'll be fun to carry it around to stick on the camera when we want to take a close up pic when we're out and about.

Works good, won't fit all of my cameras on my samsung s10+ though, but usable on the one closest to the side. Works well overall.
