This works okay but the results don't seem to last long enough for the effort I put in.

I confess, I thought this was pretty gimmicky and was prepared to state that. I don't know what causes this to be so effective on my unruly hair, but it is and I was wrong.First, the plates clamp down firmly. That is important if you want a good look and you have frizzy/curly hair. I was able to pass very fine strands through and still get a good close- there is no light coming through those plates! However, very fine strands did tug a little. If you want to put even more pressure on, there are black ovals at the bottom of the appliance, right above the big temperature button on the handle, made of plastic. You can use thumbs without fear of burning yourself, to clamp down even more firmly.My big complaint with most straighteners is the way they leave your ends looking so brutal. This one can be turned under and it gives a polished look to your ends. I suspect it is how narrow the plate is. Not sure.The iron is not overly heavy and is easy to manipulate thanks to the 360 swivel. It heated up very quickly and to about the temperature noted on the handle, according to my oven meat probe.Only con is that this cannot be used to get those little curlicues out right at the hairline. I still have to get the edge iron out for that. However, that is the case with almost every iron I have ever used.Do I recommend this? A very hearty YES!

I have been looking for a good hair straightener for a while, & this one definitely lives up to my expectations. I really like the lock mechanism that protects the hinge from being broken, & makes this straightener easy to travel with, & easy to store, as well as pack. This works great on multiple types of hair, as well as multiple lengths. Both my husband & myself have used this - him for his beard, & me for my hair, & we are both really happy with the results. The ceramic plates do a great job at heating up with an even heat distribution. This straightener is easy to use & adjust the temperature, so that this works on all different types of hair, & to set different hair styles. This is a great hair tool.

Not curved, doesn't last long

I really like this curling iron because it does exactly what I was looking for, I didn't want heavy curls I just wanted loose curls to give me a beach look and this is perfect for that, it heats up quick and it is easy to hold and manage, I like that it comes with a glove to prevent me from getting burned, I also like the different heat setting but wish the button was located in a different part of the handle so I don't push the buttons by mistake as I'm using it. Overall it does what it is intended to do and what I wanted.

I've never seen a hair tool quite like this so I had to give it a try. But overall, after trying it, I'm not a fan of this hair tool in general, but I'll go through the + and - of this product:Positive:It heats up quicklyTemp display is easy to see and control, just by pressing button instead of dials (I prefer buttons)Waves your hair very quicky and does look niceNegative:Overall 'build' of this product feels like cheap plastic. It's not well-made at all and I don't think it will last long.Just by design, this takes FOREVER to do your hair. Why not just buy a triple-barrel tool and get the job done faster?Thus, more of a crimper than a waving tool.

This flat iron is comparable to the brands at Target or Walmart. My wife likes that it's pretty easy to use and it heats up faster with adjustable temperature levels. The LCD display makes it more easy to manage the heat of the flat iron. This is also decently priced.
