Ken's Cannonball BBQ

As a former kcbs bbq competitor I feel like this is a hidden gem. Thin it with apple juice and it really goes well with pork and chicken.

This sauce is wonderful on its own, but it’s also very flexible it you want to spice it up or add ingredients.

My parents ran a restaurant for decades and this is what they used. You cannot buy in store and they have since retired so thank you Amazon!Also, several reviews mentioned they received ‘expired’ goods. Fact: similar to mayonnaise, these sauces contain natural preservatives so as long as you keep it refrigerated it should never expire. The dates they put on these are MANUFACTURE dates indicated as such with the letters MFG before the date. You can clearly see this on ALL the review pics that say they received expired goods.

I found out about this stuff through Purple Carrot (vegan meal delivery service). They use it for jackfruit sandwiches, and this was only place I could find it in huge quantities. Thankfully, it lasts once opened. We had it open for over a year (in the fridge) and used it for sandwiches and air fried tofu. Simply amazing. Definitely a bit of sweetness, but not overkill. I haven't found anything like it so we are onto our second giant container.

This is the only BBQ sauce my husband will eat. He’ll know if I use anything else. For w while I was getting some from a friend who owns a restaurant. Now the only way I can get it is here. But I really wish I could get it in a smaller size. This jar is huge!! But the sauce is delicious. It had a little tang to it. Yum.

Worth the $25.00. I poured it in a pint container for easier use. We love it!! Best BBQ sauce out there. I've used it on dry rub ribs, dry rub brisket, grilled pork chops, grilled chicken, pulled pork. Absolutely spectacular. Our summer grilling is all set. Will never buy store bought sauce again. Sweet Baby Ray's USED TO BE our favorite. We are now a Ken's convert!! Try this sauce, you will NOT be sorry. Delicious!!

I have used this sauce for years in my restaurant. People ask me all the time if it is house made and I tell them no and I don't belive even as a Chef I could make a better one. Best BBQ sauce on the market!

Ken's Cannonball BBQ sauce is medium-bodied barbecue sauce, that is brownish-red in color. It has moderately sweet tomato notes that combine with an artificial smoke flavor, a bouquet of spices, and has an assertive, tangy finish. I would like to say that, in years past, I thought this sauce was of the finest barbecue-style condiments available. As soon as my sauce arrived, I ordered chicken nuggets just so that I could use this sauce. I dunked my golden brown nugget into my little pool of bbq sauce and it immediately became clear that Ken's had changed the recipe. Much to my dismay, Ken's Cannonball BBQ Sauce no longer brings me any pleasure. I am very disappointed. If anyone, with tastebuds, has any recommendations for other bbq sauces, please leave a comment below. I would love to order a few.
