Getting their products all of the time.
Already bought their pipes and other products in the past so I'm very familiar with how long they hold up and how well they work. Never had any issues with their products with proper use. Over a year of time spent with each of the tools and parts of this kit*. These are my primary recommended tools for fellow pipe smokers. Some of them are also required in order maintain the longevity of a pipe.Rest of the review is mostly just if you don't know what the tools are or wanted more information on the parts of this kit and what it's for.3-in-1 Tool: No issue with any of the parts of this tool for over a year, and the one provided with this kit is the same as the one I currently use. There's no noticeable wear or difference between the new one and the old one.Why you need each of the parts of 3-in-1 tool and the reamer.Scraper: Primary use is cleaning off caked on tobacco soot residue from the bowl and mortise.Very easy to remove tar from the bottom of the bowl before cleaning it further.Works well with even a gentle touch.Tamper: Primary use is packing the bowl with tobacco. No issues with the "3 Pinch Method", and never have to relight.Needle: Mainly used to clean out the draught hole between the bowl and where the stem attaches.Pipe Reamer: Original has also held up over a year, though I'd keep in mind temperature differences can cause it to be a bit too big to fit into the bowl of some pipes. Would recommend keeping it in a cooled area if this is an issue and wearing gloves when using it if this is the case. The heat from your hand can cause it to expand, and you also want to make sure your pipe is cool before attempting to clean it. Haven't had any issues getting it to fit correctly into Scotte Pipes.Pipe Bits: These tend to hold up for several months of daily use. They're mainly meant to protect the pipe stem. No real issue with them, though they can affect the taste of some tobacco products. You'll normally see some tooth bite wear after about 30 days of daily use on them.Filter Balls: These are far superior to flat pipe screen filters and other products. Generally changing them about once a week with daily use, though this with depend highly on the type of tobacco used. You may have to replace them as often as every 2 uses if the tobacco contains a high level of tar. Unlike other pipe filter screens the filter balls generally leave nothing but white ash behind in the pipe, with the bulk of the tar being caught within the filter ball. These tend to have a cleaner taste and rarely any bite to the smoke. You may also have to use these to prevent heat caused damage to the stem of your pipe depending upon its design as it reduces the amount of heat traveling to the stem.Pipe Cleaners: Normally get 2 to 3 cleanings out each pipe cleaner utilizing rubbing alcohol (Make sure it's safe to use on the interior of your pipe.) by cutting them up into smaller segments. They're very effective at removing all soot and tar caught up in the draught hole this way. Will vary depending upon the length of the draught hole in your pipe. Would keep in mind that you also will have to clean the stem of the pipe from time to time as well with these.Activated Carbon Filters (ACF): These work well, and I'm not certain how often it's recommended that you change these filters. The covers on them will fall apart after about a week of daily use. They're mainly used to remove some of the more harmful toxins from the smoke.* Leather Pipe Stand: This is a new piece to me. Generally, don't put the pipe down while it's alight. It works, the leather is good, the button clasps are attached properly, and I see no issues with it.Bite refers to the sting of the smoke from tobacco pipes felt within the mouth. Drought hole is the hole between the bowl of a pipe and where the mouthpiece attaches. The mortise is the area, or hole, on the pipe bowl end that the stem attaches into. The stem is the part of a pipe you're placing in your mouth.

Works well!
My husband is using this to maintain his pipe, and says all the pieces are every useful, and well thought out. The tools are lightweight and easy to manipulate. For the price you get a LOT of pieces, and so this is a very cost efficient set. He does not use the rest, but said that it's a nice addition. We're well pleased with both the quality and design of this set, it would be a great gift for anyone that uses a pipe with any regularity.

Nice all in one set
This is a nice all in one set. The only thing that I missed from this set was a T type reamer. I don't mind self-adjusting reamers and I use them after getting most of the cake out with a T type reamer then following with a self-adjusting style. When using a self-adjusting reamer do not use pressure. It takes a while, but it is worth it.The quality of this set was good for the price, and I am purchasing another to gift to a friend.

Hard to believe how extensive this set is when you look at the price. Amazing deal!
If you're a pipe smoker you won't believe this kit, and I'm certain you will not believe the price. This kit is extensive, and contains 50 pieces, yet it's priced so low that it seems it must be a mistake. It's not. This kit will help you use and maintain your pipe(s). It contains 20 wire mesh bowl filters that fit inside the bowl of the pipe, silicone rubber bushings (2) a bowl reamer that expands for cleaning different sized bowls, a beautiful folding bowl tool with poker and scraper that fold (like a pocket knife), it even has a tamper on the end. There is a set of filters that go in the pipes stem, a leather snap-on pipe stand, and a large pack of wire pipe cleaners. This is a truly impressive set, but what really blows you away is the price. It's amazing. This is not only a great set of tools to own yourself, but get one as a gift for someone you care about that loves pipes, as well, They'll definitely appreciate it.Amazing kit, and a truly incredible value. Awesome!

Excellent set of accessories
I actually felt a bit bad after presenting this boxed set to my husband. When he first saw the box and how nice it was he thought it might be a new pipe and got excited. After opening the box and seeing what it actually was he was a bit disappointed, but he quickly got over that as he explored the contents. Perfect. It's perfect. It has everything. The tools aren't cheap. He got excited about it all over again. This is a truly excellent set that doesn't come up short at all. A great deal for the price too. Would be great to pair with a new pipe. Wish I had thought of that.

Excellent value for a full maintain set to maintain my pipes.
this set has literally everything but the pipe. Its a great value and time saver to get all of these items together. I use this set to clean glass pipes and its very helpful to maintain all as needed. The tool is my favorite part of the set because its so useful. I will use all of the parts of this set, and it would be a great gift for the pipe smoker in your life. Recommend !
