Great journal for writing but has some bleed through
This is a nice journal if your primary goal is writing. It's paper is thick enough for a ball point pen, numbered, and has 320 pages. There is a reasonable lengthed table of contents in the beginning. There are two satin bookmark ribbons that are very secure. The stencils are very usable. The pen holder and elastic strap are holding up nicely after 3 months of use. A couple of warnings for artistic journalers. The paper is not thick enough to prevent marker or felt pen bleed through. If you intend to use mildliners or other water based markers, it will bleed. It's best to use 0.05 multiliners and color pencils to prevent bleed through. Micron and copic has a few colors in this size, just be careful not to push too hard as the nibs are fragile. I have also been able to use tape runner to add pictures and tickets over the bleed through. My washi tape works beautifully in the journal.

Excellent paper for fountain pens and ink!
I got the A4 size journal with dot grid paper. Great quality paper for writing with a fountain pen. No bleeding through, can write on both sides without issue. The paper has an excellent surface feel and performance. The book lies flat when open, making writing easier. There are two placeholder ribbons and there’s an envelope in the back cover to stash things, for me it’s a small sheet of blotting paper. The journal includes an elastic band to keep it closed. The only additional feature I would want is an elastic or leather pen holder. I would like to see the elastic used for the closure band be a sturdier grade. The elastic used is very lightweight, not really suitable for this purpose. However I wouldn’t downgrade for that.

Fantastic!
I recently started getting into a category of drawings called zen doodle. Silly name, but so of the drawings that people have done are just absolutely beautiful! Plus, I also make mandalas too. A big part of the mandala process is making a template. Now, I'm kinda cheap and by that I mean I'm not going to be buying paper that already has everything mapped out on it. So, I started looking for a good notebook with graph paper. Believe me, it makes the whole process so much easier. I was lucky enough to find this beautiful hardcover journal with graph paper at 50%off! I couldn't believe it! First, I love the cover of this!! It's very soft and the color is just beautiful! Plus, it very strong and sturdy. It comes with a pocket at the back that has little transparent sticky notes you can use to divide different sections of this however you want, which is awesome. The paper is fantastic!! I only use fine line drawing pens and maybe a Sharpie S-gel pen for my drawings and none of them have bled through the paper a bit!! So, if that's the case, then the paper has been be a decent enough thickness. I am so very happy with this journal/notebook or whatever you want to call it. It lays down flat for me to work easily anywhere I am, which is really nice. I will definitely be getting another one very soon!!

Favorite Bullet Journal!
I love this notebook so much. The cover is a beautiful color, and feels quite sturdy. It opens great, so the pages lie completely flat. The dot grid is light enough that it's not obnoxious/distracting. I really like how it has page numbers & a table of contents at the front! My pens do bleed a bit (not getting color onto the page underneath, but you can see through the pages a bit), but tbh I've never found a journal that doesn't do that lol, so I'm fine with it. I also just really love the size of this notebook, since most dot grid journals don't have enough pages for a full year bullet journal, but this one is perfect for me. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and will likely get another one of these next year!

Nice journal, but not for me
Great journal - nice hard cover, thick inside cover page, 3 content pages, smooth paper, numbered pages, and I love that the dots are light. I prefer lightly dotted journals like the leuchtturm1917. And it’s a good price! (Got mine on a deal for $9.99) However, I love writing with fountain pens and these journals are not fountain pen friendly. There is a lot of shadowing and bleed through (especially after I refill my fountain pen). I really wanted to love this journal, but it’s not enjoyable to write with fountain pens. Some of my markers also show shadowing and bleeds through. It’s a great journal, just not for me.

My Favorite! I’m Back to Buy my Fourth One
I have gone through so many journal brands over the years and this one has become my standard re-purchase, balancing out price and quality. I’m starting my third one and back to order a backup when that one runs out. I use mine for an all-purpose bullet journal with to-do lists, daily journal pages, budgeting, etc. so I do go through them fairly quickly. 316 pgs, no bleed-through using my favorite Sharpie black pens, two ribbons, elastic closure and one to hold a pen. Decent sized pocket in back and I don’t use them, but the two little pages of stencils included are cute designs. I dress mine up a smidge with a vinyl sticker monogram on the cover and use it all day long very day.

Built for daily use
I open, write inside, and flip through this notebook multiple times a day. The threading on the pages is reliable, and the paper is strong. Currently on page 274 of 314 and every single page is intact and still secured to the binding. The paper stays flat when opened. The dotted grid keeps my writing and drawing neat. It takes to post-it notes and bookmarks really well, with little bulging of the hardcover. It’s also a great size; it feels good in my hands in terms of shape and weight. The only flaw is that when I pulled to hard on one of the bookmark strings, it almost came out. It’s still attached but the piece of cloth that is supposed to keep the string glued down is now peaking out the top of the spine—a minor cosmetic issue. Lastly, some of my fountain pens will bleed through but not my ballpoints. This may just be the ink or nibs I’m using to write. Highlighters will bleed if I overdo it. All said, I highly recommend this if you want a sketchbook or free-form journal that is archival-level quality.
