This is a very finely detailed model and a real joy to construct. However, be aware that the instructions are on a disc, not printed out, which means you will either need to print them out yourself (136 pages!) or have computer at hand that can display a DVD. Also, there are few written instructions. They are almost completely in diagram form, but the diagrams are detailed and relatively easy to read. Many of the individual metal parts, some quite small, are stored in clear, flexible plastic containers with several pages of diagrams to show where each part is located. Cut them out of the containers as needed. Enjoy!

To begin with, the kit is for experienced modelers. The instructions are visually very good, but there is basically no written directions. I found printing out 20 pages at a time worked best for me, there are 134 pages. I study the pages the night before I plan to build, studying is a good idea because of the complexity and attention to detail required.It is laborious and takes patience. You will need a full complement of modeling tools and glues, paint etc..I've been building models (basically museum quality ships and a few WW1 airplanes) for 40 years, before that other more basic models since I was a boy, I'm 70. This is by far the most precise airplane I have ever built. When finished, probably sometime this spring, I'll post a few pictures. Have fun and take your time if you decide to build it.

Haven’t started the kit yet..... but the packaging is excellent. Metal castings look crisp..... dvd instructions are amazing. I’ve never bought a kit from Artensia Latina before.... but so far I am impressed. Sure.... it’ll be a challenge, but that is what I was looking for. Looks to be a very enjoyable build, no regrets.

The instructions are not very good. You must be a very, very experienced modeler to make this. Material quality is excellent. This was just more then I could handle

Nicely detailed and cool museum kit but I have a few issues. I've been pulling my hair out due to bad engineering. A few pieces don't fit right so you'll be doing some sanding, cutting and bending just to get it to go where it's supposed to. Also the instructions are not clear sometimes. Omitting a few small pieces that you eventually figure out on your own why those "holes" are there. Some instruction pictures are not high res so it's hard to see. If you like a challenge and then some, then this is the kit for you.

The tailplane section did not fit, I complained to the manufacturer but received no response. I managed to bodge it but to be honest the whole metal parts were a nightmare.I now find that the top wing does not fit onto the uprights, they connections should be in a straight line but aren't, this is not a problem I can overcome. I was expecting a plane which could be made to museum standard for almost £300 but clearly this is not the case, I would like my money back, but how do I get it when they don't respond ?

Das Modell ist einfach der Hammer.Entgegen der Mitteilung auf dem Karton "easy to build" ist es das natürlich nicht.Da sollte man schon das eine oder andere Modell gebaut haben um sich hier heran zu wagen.Aber eines sei gesagt: Es macht unheimlich viel Spaß :)Die Anleitung liegt nur in elektronischer Form auf der CD Rom bei. Entweder als Jpg oder PDF.
