For the price (just under 7 US at the time) these are 5 stars. A full set is usually so much more. I paid more for one pair of scissors similar to the one in this set.Pros:Parts are joined well. No bad welds.Scissors are sharp and cut well.The forceps grab plants fine. There is some flex to them but for moving plants, they would be ok.The spatula is stronger and will take being pushed around in sand. Gravel should be OK too but I only could try sand.Cons:The scissors hurt the hand. They look like they were stamped out of a sheet. Though there appear to be hammer marks around the too of the handle, they don't do anything. The edges are not rounded and smoothed like most scissors and dig painfully into the thumb and finger. For a quick job they are ok. I will be using my other pair. The price was worth it to get the other tools in the set and the scissors do work. I will probably sand the edges.Unknown: I have not had these long enough to see if they would rust. There are no bad welds that I usually expect to rust. With care, these should do ok, but not tested.Worth the price if you need a starter set for what can be an expensive hobby.

I wasn't sure what to expect because this was priced so much lower than some of the others but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Just what I was looking for!

Received these today and tried to use the scraper on some light algae build up. Light is the operative word. The scrapper was worthless. I tried filing it to put a little edge on it but to no avail. Scissors and tweezers ok.
