Looks up a diy one online. This is trash for the cost. Not enough poly with it.

First things first - this is a great kit and my daughter and I had a lot of fun making it. There are a lot of parts (the lighting, the armature, sticks, fluff, etc.) and it definitely involves patience and a willingness to experiment and play until you find something you like. In short, it's a great project for those who aren't after instant gratification or those who don't care to bring any sense of creativity to it. But, for a family of artists like mine, this was an instant hit.The fluff takes some time to get looking like a cloud (again, patience will be the word of the day on this - take your time and enjoy the process and you will be rewarded) but the end result was quite nice and the lighting effect is pretty cool.That said, the ONLY thing that I think would make this an even better product is of the lighting effect had a more realistic thunder cloud mode. All the rainbow colors are cool and all, but I was hoping for a setting that would give me that true thunderstorm look with little flashes of lightning pulsing from the heart of the cloud.Still, a very fun protect and a rewarding way to spend an afternoon.

The media could not be loaded. I saw this and thought it looked really cool, but can I really make that? The answer is yes. With an hour or two of time, and patience with the not so clear instructions.The hardest part for me was getting the lights attached to the frame right. The instructions on where to attach them on the frame was confusing to me. I ended up guessing where to put them, and it worked out fine. The next step of attaching the cotton in a cloud shape was, surprisingly, much easier than I expected. It was getting it to stay on that I had a few problems with. Luckily if you mess something up you can pull things apart to fix it. The cotton cloud material is pretty forgiving, and can be reshaped if needed. I could’ve used a little bit more cotton to cover the two end pieces, but I made it work. They do provide little rubber gaskets to put on the ends of all the sticks to keep the cotton on. After you put those on you are supposed to cut the ends of the sticks off, so you won’t see them. I didn’t cut the bottom ones off, because I wanted the option of standing this up on a shelf or desk. I was able to pull the cotton over them to hide the ends.I did hang it up, and the cord is pretty long for you to plug it in. The cord does not have a wall plug at the end of it. It has a USB plug instead. You will have to provide your own wall plug for this. The cord does have a controller for the lights on it. There is also a remote control, and an app for it.The app has multiple color choices, and tons of light mode options on it. It also has a microphone option that lights up to whatever it hears, and a music option. The music option has 9 sample songs that are synced with the lights. There is an option to link Apple Music with it, but I couldn’t get any of the songs from it to work. I wasn’t able to figure out how to get it to work yet.This little cloud with lights was really fun building. I think kids would enjoy building it too, but they would definitely need an adult to help build it with them. I’m really glad I tried this, and would recommend getting it. The light show it puts on is amazing and fun to watch.

Putting this cloud together at first seemed daunting. It has some pieces to it and the instructions seemed involved. But the minute I started it, the project became enjoyable and the end result is great! I’m waiting for my friend to come and help me hang it and once it’s up I’ll add pictures and video. Everything you need is included in the box and the entire project took about an hour. The cloud and the light effects are stunning and the end result is quite unique. A definite conversation piece!

Easy to setup and put together. No artistic abilities needed as it is basically a cloud of your imagination. Easy to control and change lights. Can use remote or app for control and sound control. Great for kids and adults alike. Absolutely a must for RGB lovers.Highly recommend.

There's not much to this light, it's a cool idea and it works althoughputting it together is rather cumbersome and time-consuming. Patience is a virtue. Take your time and it's worth it for the smile on the kids face. It's a cool idea, done well, and gives off a really neat vibe. I took pictures but none of them do the light justice, maybe it's my cheap phone camera, but I felt posting them would be unfair, because they look much better in person. Depending on their ages, putting this together could be a good project to do withyour child / children. I'm giving it four stars.

It was a bit fiddly to put together I don’t think there is enough fluff for the cloud and trying to shape was a nightmare

Creating the cloud light was an engaging project, and the results are nothing short of spectacular. The lights sync perfectly with music, bringing a vibrant atmosphere to any gathering or quiet evening. It's been a hit at home, especially during parties. The USB power source is a great touch, allowing flexibility in placement. This DIY kit not only lights up a room but also adds a personal touch to my decor.

I must admit I haven't add the time to set up these 'clouds' yet. I look at all the pieces in box and this puts me off!I must set up soon as I have room waiting for them.Think I will end up asking my brother to do! Will direct him to reviews for guidance!!

The media could not be loaded. I love the cloud, it looks really cool and so many people have appreciated it. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be and honestly it was a bit of a faff to assemble and also to hang as its quite heavy for one little usb lead but it definitely does reassemble and cloud. It has a great variation of colours and modes too. Also flashes to music. For the price it's really cool and unique. Definitely recommend
