LifeProof Slam Premium, Two-piece, Dropproof Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 - Aloha Sunset

This is a really funky looking, slim but secure case. I normally use wallet style cases as they look smart but as phones seem to be getting bigger to maximise use of the screens so the cases get chunkier too and it was about time I went back to basics.Thus fits together very securely and holds the phone snugly and perfectly. I've dropped the phone a couple of times since (nothing major, but it was knocked off a desk once and then fell out of a pocket) and there isn't a mark on it, the case looks like new too.

You don’t get a screen protector included so you’re going to have to invest in one of them. The edges are raised slightly so you do get some protection. It’s a not too bulky two piece case that fits well offering rear and edge protection. It’s easy enough to put together although no dusty cloth is included (despite there being one in the instruction pictures). The relevant holes for charging and other ports are all accessible. The two colours are a bit different - one is like a teal (green/blue) and the other is kind of magenta (pink/purple). An unusual colour combination that might not be to everyone’s taste. I think the RRP price seems a bit expensive. It is a decent enough case though but a bit pricey unless it’s on sale (like it is just now).

My wife is using this on her new Samsung Galaxy S9 and is really pleased with it. It goes all round the phone so offers really good protection, doesn't add too much bulk, and the buttons, etc, all work fine with it on. It looks quite smart - and most importantly, seems really sturdy so I think you'd have to try quite hard to damage your phone while it's in this case. Pleased.

I was underwhelmed by this protection. It's middle of the road and not really what I would expect or need for my daily use. The £11.99 cover I had on along with a screen protector provides protection that felt safer and looked nicer

Just don't even bother, please! They had these on sale the other week at a tenth of the current cost and it still got sent back. Very cheap feel to the plastics, the back us scratch prone and the frame warps out if shape causing them to snap when put together. Then of course as it us just clipped together it creaks and groans if held in your hand for any length of time. And then to top it all off when removing the case it pulled my "wet-apply" screen protectors edges up, ruining it....

This is a clip on plastic cover for the Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. It's a back plate that clips around the body of the phone and sides, offering protection from knocks and scrapes. It doesn't have a front flap or covering, so whilst it makes it easier to get at your touch screen, it won't offer any protection to the most expensive part of the whole phone. Useful if your phone lives on your bag or drawer and is otherwise quite safe. If it gets whipped out of your pocket every five minutes, you might want something that covers it more if it's likely to get dropped.
